When was a child, the idea to be an space Commander, was our mayor wish! In the end of 60's the film "2001, space odisey" was the film, and Bowie the rigth music yo this idea... Neil Amstrong, the rigth men in the space! But this New versión, men! This is a nobel prize, a Óscar winner, of all the Dreams of my generation! Thanks for this great video CAP. Tom!!
What an incredible and amazing human being Chris is. Very quotable as well: "If you sing a song about sunset, I think you'd do a far better job if the sun is setting beside you."
So happy David Bowie was alive to see this! ( Gone too soon) Great idea, wonderful job Chris Hadfield ! From St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador , Canada! Proud of you my fellow Canadian! :-)
I love this video, it must have been an honour to have someone perform a song you wrote in space. Were there any other video recordings? I recall the episode of Desert Island Discs where Col. Hadfield discussed additional songs that were played with other crew members. I assume that only this song was taped with this extent of effort, but did anyone ever have the camera around when the crew was singing together?

Hi แชทสด บันทึกแล้ว Hi
Not much difference between a space man actor and an amateur guitarist. Both on stage on earth.
....What are you even talking about?
@@StormsandSaugeyeI couldn't figure it either
Trivia: Yuri A. Gagarin was the first to circle the earth, Neil Armstrong was the second a year later.
You can tell this video is fake, sound doesn't propagate in outer space. How could he be playing guitar???
he recorded it ON BOARD the International Spacestation which has air for the astronauts living there. Therefore, sound will travel.
Without oxygen, there wouldn't be astronauts in space. Bowie was able to hear Chris sing his song, coming full circle before he passed away. 🇨🇦🇬🇧🇷🇺
