Great place is Ronda, we spent three nights there seven years ago after three nights in Granada, you have shown us some places we did not visit so back again next year! Thank you for your time and trouble making these videos, cheers from James and Kathy. 👍
Your video showed up on my UA-cam stream. I loved Ronda. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Del Sol. Ronda and the caminito del Ray. We stayed (and got a surprising upgrade) at the monetary at the foot if the "new" bridge. Our room was on the top outside corner overlooking the bridge. Outstanding view. I'll never forget getting lost amid the walls and terraces both inside the wall and outside. The gorge was amazing and left me in wonder and amazement. I have wondered what it would be like to live there. We only spent two days in March/24. But it was an experience for sure. Think the stairs and steep pathways would drive me nuts after awhile. I was amazed at how the ancients actually survived in this weird place. I found a plaque that explained it all on the way down to the gorge. "The captured".... European version of slavery. Beautiful place with a difficult history for sure.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Well, we are envious of your upgrade and ...VERY envious of your visit to Caminito del Rey (although it does look a bit scary)!!!
@ColleenAndGary ... It's not so scary until half way over the suspension bridge when the wind hits you and all of a sudden up is down and down is up ... As your getting off the stairs and the walking ridge narrows. I've never experienced vertigo like that before. If you go, take the tour great history lesson.
Hi. We rented an AirBnb. It was a great location and very reasonably priced. However, there was a strong food smell from the restaurant downstairs. Let us know if you have other questions. Hi guys, great video. Would you say a 74 year old would do ok walking around those trails and maybe checking out the mine? We’re going to Ronda next month but we’re taking my in laws and I don’t want to start walking around if it’s too much to handle for them. How long did it take you to walk around Ronda? Or what you show of Ronda in the video? Thanks!
We were in Ronda in September. Walking around the town and on the walls is not difficult. However, most parts of the walk on top of the walls do not have safety rails. The trail to the gorge is not long but is very steep and there is no shade. We are in our early sixties and had no problems (except sweating!). It took about 10 minutes to descend and 20 minutes to return. Slow and steady! Of course, everyone is different. Enjoy your time in Ronda and thanks for watching.

Enjoy your return visit. And, thanks for watching!

What time of year was your trip?
Hi, we were in Rhonda the first week of October. The weather was warm but not too hot for hiking. Thanks for watching!
