I have several that I'm so proud to own. I seem to have an affinity for wool..lol😂 I dry pumpkins and retrieve the pumpkin stems every year from every one I purchase. Great ideas for fall! I’ve found some primitive fall decor on Etsy that I’ve ordered this year including some primitive cross stitch items that I’m working on. My zinnias are pretty this year but our drought and hot, hot temperatures hurt my other flowers this season. I’m thinking of incorporating some teal into my fall colors this year. I’m on the lookout for a teal colored pumpkin that’s realistic looking. As always, thanks for sharing!

My garden pumpkins were planted fairly recently (I live in AZ, so we get a Nov/Dec harvest…it’s too hot otherwise). But I am excited to have them, even late. Spending a Fall craft day with my mama on Saturday so we can make our floral garlands etc. Yay for Fall!❤

One thing I did this year is the foam orange pumpkins that are everywhere, I brushed them with antique wax and they look so much realer than the bright orange color! Warms up and ages the Pumpkins! Love the fall inspiration. I’m growing three different kinds of pumpkins (sugar, fairy, and jack o lantern) and daisy gourds. I also planted some store bought popcorn just to have corn stalks to put around my lamp posts along my driveway!
Last year I did a combo of Fall and Halloween and was happy with that. This year I am not sure yet. Last year did a white Halloween tree and then added Halloween type ornaments to it. It turned out nice. This year I am going to include mushroom items with the Fall decor.
I did fall-o-ween last year too and it was the best of both worlds for sure. Your tree sounds like it was lovely. Mushrooms would be cute even into christmas depending on what they look like! Thanks so much for watching!!
Love your design plan! Please do Halloween too. I can easily see the gathered dried florals going right on in to a darker browns and purpley burgundy witchy vibe. I love love love those bumpy gourds. I need them. Last year I was sick with covid so I asked my husband to just pick out the wartiest pumpkin he could find. He got 2. A green one and an orange that looked like it had leprosy or something! For carving a get a smooth orange but seriously the warty imperfect ones last longer if you keep them out of the sun. We live in NC so its still hot in October our pumpkins dont last us very long outside. 😅

Love all your finds. I have been saving pumpkins stems for years. But , unless you go to a pumpkin patch or farm, its getting harder and harder to find . The grocery store ones have all the stems cut off as its easier for the shipper. I am crushing on that large jar candle as clove is one of my all time favorite fragrances. When I am at Hobby Lobby, I always get a few cast iron or porcelain or pretty knobs to glue to the top of my candle jar lids. It really elevates them. But then, they are so gorgeous , I can't get rid of the jar! And to me, plaids are quintessential fall. I have a collection of pillows and pillow covers that transform my living room.
I noticed the grocery pumpkins have short stems and I hate that! You may like pumpkin clove from bath and body works more if you love the clove scent, it’s stronger in the bath and body candle! Love the idea of adding a knob, that’s so cute. Thanks for watching!

Love your direction, I feel we are on a similar path even if I stick to “faux” flowers because it’s what’s available. Please! 😊 Our pumpkin patch is doing awful this year. 😢 it's a really bad off year for our whole garden. The squirrels, rabbits, raccoons and whoever else is up to their shinnannigans has eaten or damaged every pumpkin so far. We've got 3 butternut squash that are doing well, so there's that. My hubby is bummed because once again his Cinderella pumpkins just won't do a thing. 🤷♀️ I can't wait to see more of your pumpkins and other garden goodies as they get harvested.

For some reason the Cinderella pumpkins just don't work for us... this is year 4 with plants but no pumpkins, it's so weird. Our other pumpkins would be doing ok if the animals would stop eating them when they are small. The animals have been super aggressive eaters this year. If you do a garden update later in fall I am super curious to know more about you growing pumpkins on the trellis.
@@melbarn2716 no problem! Wellllll the pumpkin arch collapsed on itself under the weight of some pumpkins so we clearly used the wrong kind of fencing lol it’s currently jimmy rigged up to a tall shepherds hook for support. Next year we will get it right though 😂
My tiny ornamental gourds are not doing so well this year:/ Last year one of them got cross mixed with a cucumber so it had green and light green stripes instead of light orange and cream haha

I snagged a couple of those pumpkin candles on sale too, I got the medium size but regretted not getting that big size. My reason was I felt it would take too long to melt all the way to the sides… do you know how long it takes?
Thanks so much, those flowers were from my garden :) I'm glad you were able to get those pumpkin candles. Do you like the way they smell? The website says the large one has 108 hrs of burn time. It actually has 3 wicks so I think it will melt to the sides faster than the medium size.

Thanks so much! Im embarrassed to admit that I just bought the sweatshirt because I liked the way it looked and it was on sale lol If you are a big McLaren fan, Abercrombie carries lots of McLaren branded clothes and I even found quite a few at Tj Maxx for way less too.

Love your direction, I feel we are on a similar path even if I stick to “faux” flowers because it’s what’s available. I almost grabbed that creative co-op blanket to drape on my dining room table but alas went with something on Etsy instead. I hope pumpkins come in soon cuz I’m loading them up on my table this fall

Our pumpkin patch is doing awful this year. 😢 it's a really bad off year for our whole garden. The squirrels, rabbits, raccoons and whoever else is up to their shinnannigans has eaten or damaged every pumpkin so far. We've got 3 butternut squash that are doing well, so there's that. My hubby is bummed because once again his Cinderella pumpkins just won't do a thing. 🤷♀️ I can't wait to see more of your pumpkins and other garden goodies as they get harvested.

@@harvestandholly THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 🥰 As for our garden... we have tried everything. For some reason the Cinderella pumpkins just don't work for us... this is year 4 with plants but no pumpkins, it's so weird. Our other pumpkins would be doing ok if the animals would stop eating them when they are small. The animals have been super aggressive eaters this year.
If you do a garden update later in fall I am super curious to know more about you growing pumpkins on the trellis.
@@melbarn2716 no problem! Wellllll the pumpkin arch collapsed on itself under the weight of some pumpkins so we clearly used the wrong kind of fencing lol it’s currently jimmy rigged up to a tall shepherds hook for support. Next year we will get it right though 😂

My tiny ornamental gourds are not doing so well this year:/
Last year one of them got cross mixed with a cucumber so it had green and light green stripes instead of light orange and cream haha

Enjoyed the video and yes, would like to see similar video for Halloween. The flower arrangement at the start of video is beautiful! I snagged a couple of those pumpkin candles on sale too, I got the medium size but regretted not getting that big size. My reason was I felt it would take too long to melt all the way to the sides… do you know how long it takes?
Thanks so much, those flowers were from my garden :) I'm glad you were able to get those pumpkin candles. Do you like the way they smell? The website says the large one has 108 hrs of burn time. It actually has 3 wicks so I think it will melt to the sides faster than the medium size.
