I prefer this lower load and greater rep range scheme more than the higher load (85-90+%), lower reps (3-2-1) of Christian Thibideau's wave loading program because it still allows for heavy weight to be used, but does not fatigue the nervous system nearly as much due to the intensity be more varied.
