Thank you KEXP for bringing alvvays and their awesome music closer to us! This is arguably one of the best tracks off antisocialites, up there with in undertow and saved by a waif. There is this cathartic and nostalgic quality to their music that liberates the mind and makes alone time a blast

Fell in love with Alvvays during quarantine and met someone but we broke up. Started listening to this song on repeat and I think I’ll forever cherish this song for the feeling it gives me. I miss him but I suppose everything happens for a reason and if he comes back then he comes back but I’ll always appreciate him I wish him nothing but happiness.

This song has one of the most beautiful, evocative intros I've ever heard in my entire life. It's right up there with the intros in "Going Places" by Teenage Fanclub, "A to Fade In" by Adorable, and "Love in a car" by The House of Love.
They have the best intros. I wish they'd do an album full of just 4-minute long intros. Best part of their songs. This is probably their best.

Can't get over the Korg Poly Ensemble-- first synth I ever had and I am OLD...really adds a nice dimension to their sound.
I'm a huge fan of 80s music and I must say that it's always nice to hear some kind of keyboard/synth in songs today.
