This man is a perfect example of passion of playing football- no matter at which club he played for, he always gave 120% and played for the love of the game. no wonder he's tearing up in his final game. if only players nowadays had half the passion and love for the game as beckham did- never mind the quality.
Not taking anything away from this, but imagine how emotional it would be if his last game was with Man utd at a home game and Alex Ferguson still being manager
zidane, ronaldo, beckham, cannavaro, maldini, puyol, king henry, bergkamp, pires, trezeguet, nedved, ballac, baggio, totti, del piero, figo, raul... footballer i grow up watching.. now most of them are gone.. nowadays football is so messi/ronaldo-centric.. its cool both of them are good.. but seems like old days of football had more competition
+Jake Wheeler no ronaldo and messi would be up against better players defenses the teams didn't revolve around one player they would have 1-2 ballon d'ors max if they palyed in that time
Beckham has always and will always be my favourite football player. Not only because he was a fantastic footballer but because he is a fine example of a gentleman. After all he's achieved, he's still so humble. I'd love to meet him one day and just shaking hands with him would be a pleasure.
I cried when i saw this, i remember watching this game just cuz i knew it was his last :'( football is where he belongs, not as some commercial icon in the u.s, but as one of the greatest midfielders of europe
Christopher De Freitas He'll be making his own football team in the US, soon. :} When he played in America, he wanted Soccer (Football) to become popular and known as a bbrilliantsport.
Kai Emeritus if there is anyone who has the power to really expand football in the us, it has to be him, if you think about, he's kind of like the bruce wayne of football LOL
anybody notices Victoria's reaction ... one any kind on man would ever want Beckham deserved that farewell.. the game literally stopped. only football can make you feel like this.
Absolute Hero. Words cannot describe the respect I have for DB. Followed his whole career on and off the pitch, to some extent, and what a special person he is. He makes you feel proud to be human. I love that he just sits down beside the pitch after leaving and is just laughing from the emotion , after crying. Doesn't want to leave. I really don't have too many hero's, if anyone, but DB is as close to one as you can get imo. If you didn't witness it at the time it's impossible to understand. But that guy was dragged through it by the world press, not just ours. And he responded by doing nothing, by being a bigger man and forgetting about all the shit and just focusing on the right things constantly. Legend.
David is such a great guy. I met him in paris once and he insisted to pay for my dinner. he also wanted to pay my college loan, but I said "hey david, I cant I accept it really, but thanks" and when I saw he got emotional because of that I decided to let him pay it cause I didnt want to break his golden heart.
Jollynixon Sarcasm doesn't work on UA-cam. I gave up long ago. Memes are the only thing people recognise as humour round these parts. You should've just said something like "In Soviet Russia, football club quits you". You'd have these idiots lolling all over the place. Even "Darude - Sandstorm" would work.
@@TheKingoftheKingofKings Zidane playstyle is different than Beckham.. Zidane position is attacking midfielder, beckham is a true midfielder Like Xavi etc... Becks was the god of freekicks + passing.

referee deserves huge credit here for not being a moody fucker and lettin beckham receive the long sendoff he deserved... even the referee has respect for beckham, great to see :) no one usually gets to stay that long on the pitch and get away with it :)
Fabio capello? In madrid? Or do you mean steve mclaren? I think the coach after mclaren dropped him, and ik capello didn't want him in the 2010 squad, I also remember madrid begged him to stay, and sir alex mentioned in his bio that he was "furious" that becks was going into retirement mode at age 30-31 saying that "this is the height of his career, wth is he doing?"
one of the best player ever...he has a nice heart...only few players have a good heart... omg...time flies so fast...he will gonna retired soon :( ... beckham always in memory... thank you mr.beckham...you've made everything perfect in football.. super world class
I don't think many people put Beckham up there with likes of Zidane, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and co, but there's a beauty and swagger to his game that you just can't help but respect and love. I also can't think of a more accurate passer of the ball. Perhaps Scholes had an equal range on him, but no one could (do forgive me...) "bend it like Beckham". PS. His free kicks weren't too bad either.
i love David Beckham he was always one of my top two favorites if not one of my two favorites and my shed a couple tears knowing that a great legend has ended his career and we wont get to seem him play anymore. The way he curved a ball and even the way he stood for a FK are memorable and you will surely be missed and we thank you Beckham for the games and the memories you have given us all!
Here is someone who loved what he did, passionated about the game of football and always improved himself. He was never the best player but he got back up every time he fell. He came back from 98, led England as a gallant captain. Yes, there were limitations to his game, he didn't had dazzling dribbles or pace but he always threw his heart out for his team, for the game of football.
