Not crazy at all.❤ They are family! My little cockatoo ended up egg bound in December of last year. I had to rush her to an ER vet on Xmas Eve. They did surgery on her Xmas day to remove the egg. In total, the overnight stay and surgery cost me $3400. She was doing well, but then 4 days later she passed away. I would still do it all over again, knowing that she would pass, because that surgery gave me those few extra days with her. We spent those hours just cuddling and watching TV together. I miss her like crazy. ❤
