Sanatana Dharma doesn't tell anybody to follow a path and doesn't convert other faiths to follow it's path. It gives you the freedom to think for yourself and do best. The Gods are people who lived exemplary lives and by their behaviour in their entire lives, become godly. Even humans are taught to live a honest life doing good to others for getting a better next life. If you lead an exemplary life like a Rishi, one can break the life death and life cycle. Sanatana Dharma existed before others can even think of religion and that's why converting concept was unknown as everybody was a hindu.

The story of "Krishna" dates back to few thousand years before the story of "Christ." And interestingly, both the stories are very similar. Something to ponder! "Religion" is a tribal/cult/political doctrine middle eastern western concept. "Hindu" is a civilizational dharmic concept. It is cultural and very deep rooted in the land. "Religion" deals with conversion and "belief" system. Hindu civilization deals with seeking/knowing and understanding our existence and our relationship to cosmos and has evolved over times by numerous Gurus, Rishis and Saints of Bharat. That is why Vedas meaning "Knowledge" in Sanskrit is fundamental to Hindu civilization. And at least 36 books have to be read to understand the Vedas broadly. In fact, most Hindu Temples are places of inner engineering rather than so called "god" in western concept. Diety is not equivalent to god. 100000s of Temples in India that were built 2000 + years back is a testament to advanced Engineering and how much they understood the cosmos, planets and soil Engineering including Structural and Seismic Engineering. The more one explores India, the more you understand how advanced the Vedic Rishis and civilization in general was. Ayurveda, Yoga, Vimana Shastra, Mantras (Sound viberation that activates biostatic points in our body for healing), fire rituals ( in a way to cleanse environment with specific ingredients put in the fire during the process) and the list goes on. And western "religions/cult/tribal concept" in essence destroys indigenous civilizations and replaces it with this tribal concept to capture and control cultures and economies. Sanatana Dharma doesn't tell anybody to follow a path and doesn't convert other faiths to follow it's path. It gives you the freedom to think for yourself and do best. The Gods are people who lived exemplary lives and by their behaviour in their entire lives, become godly. Even humans are taught to live a honest life doing good to others for getting a better next life. If you lead an exemplary life like a Rishi, one can break the life death and life cycle. Sanatana Dharma existed before others can even think of religion and that's why converting concept was unknown as everybody was a hindu.

"Religion" is a tribal/cult/political doctrine middle eastern western concept. "Hindu" is a civilizational dharmic concept. It is cultural and very deep rooted in the land. "Religion" deals with conversion and "belief" system. Diety is not equivalent to god. 100000s of Temples in India that were built 2000 + years back is a testament to advanced Engineering and how much they understood the cosmos, planets and soil Engineering including Structural and Seismic Engineering. The more one explores India, the more you understand how advanced the Vedic Rishis and civilization in general was. Ayurveda, Yoga, Vimana Shastra, Mantras (Sound viberation that activates biostatic points in our body for healing), fire rituals ( in a way to cleanse environment with specific ingredients put in the fire during the process) and the list goes on. And western "religions/cult/tribal concept" in essence destroys indigenous civilizations and replaces it with this tribal concept to capture and control cultures and economies. They will have their own unique bond and that's why in hinduism there is no concept of spreading the word to make believe or to Convert.

Just one sided yapping by passionate christian guy. He didn't meet his match , was his good fortune or he would have to backtrack. This happens when one lacks knowledge about other cultures. This was certainly not the teaching of Jesus and Christianity as u rightly said that modern Christianity has very little essense of teachings of Jesus Christ and more motivation to convert more and more people. I don't know where to even begin , i can debunk each and every one of his claim regarding Jesus the only one that has resurrected from the dead , Jesus the only one that washed the feet of ordinary person despite him being the god or son of god himself etc. one should refrain from giving such a bold self proclaimed only correct answer in public unless he is not literate in different cultural stories and beliefs , which he clearly wasn't. As someone has rightly said that religion is a set of rituals and rules whereas spirituality is the knowledge of thyself , that comes from within , which is the only true answer.
