Is there a way to show bend lines on one layer of a DXF and forming tools on another? Like first laser a logo and then move it to a different piece of equipment and then utilize a second layer of DXF to CNC punch press tge part?
What if we only have a 3D model of bent sheet metal in the form of an stp file, how to convert it to a 2D model in the form of a dxf file. Is it even possible? If we have a 3D model in the form of an STP file and we want to generate a 2D file in DXF format from it, do we just need to redraw it and then convert it to DXF, or is there another, simpler way?
