Reminds me of my first asmr. My mother when we would get sick woudl rub us with a cold egg, una curada, praying over us. So that we would get better. She provided this same remedy to my daughters when they were little. It would make me feel so relaxed and calm. Listening to her whisper prayers was all I needed to relax and fall asleep and wake up feeling so much better. I’m so glad my children were able to feel that and hear my mom there’s prayers as I did. Brings a tear to my eye as my poor beloved mother now suffers from dementia. Oh how I wish I could hear those whispered prayers for her to calm her and make her feel better. The massages always seem a bit rough and fast paced which doesn’t seem like they would be relaxing. When it comes to hair play, I like gentle and light massaging of the scalp. Absolutely the best ASMR for when I’m reading. I love the whispers but only pick up the occasional word in Spanish, so I’m not distracted while reading in English!
