Acculynx cons (where I feel Acculynx is behind JobNimbus): * More expensive than JobNimbus * The dashboard is not customizable * The workflow is customizable, but only within the confines of the preset dashboard * Automated tasks can't be set up for items that occur within the workflow, only when a job moves from one stage to the next * Field app is not so great * Camera app is lacking the functionality of CompanyCam (I love CompanyCam) * Does not integrate with Hover Acculynx Pro's (where I feel Acculynx is better than JobNimbus): * Building labor and material orders is much better, much smoother, and integrates with original Eagleview measurements * Crew app is easier to use for our crew * Estimating tool allows us to build estimates without having to use a 3rd party tool * Estimates created can be customized much better than JobNimbus or SumoQuote * Estimates are built using gross profit margin instead of mark-up. For the life of me, I can't figure out why JobNimbus and SumoQuote use mark-up. * Reporting in Acculynx is much more robust, and provides better information * The dashboard is less cluttered and easier to navigate * Although JobNimbus' capability of creating customers separate from jobs can be useful, it also takes double entry. Acculynx has a similar capability, but it's done differently. * Building supplement requests or invoices for insurance companies is far easier in Acculynx * Integration with QB is better These are merely my opinions. I've used Acculynx for 6 years. I've tried 3 times to migrate to other platforms, and we've investigated at least 5 others. We've tried migrating to JobNimbus twice, the most recent time was less than 2 weeks ago. Our "go live" date with JobNimbus was supposed to have been Mar. 1, but as I was running our first real job through it, I realized that it doesn't do what we can do in Acculynx. We've investigated Stagistics (don't know if it even still exists), Roof Chief, Contractor's Cloud, Job Progress, and JobNimbus. We were in migration process with Job Progress and pulled the plug and stayed on Acculynx, and we were in serious migration mode recently with JobNimbus and pulled the plug again. Even though I would like to get off Acculynx because of the cost and because of the workflow not being customizable, we've found that the saying, "You get what you pay for," is really true in comparison between these 2 CRMs.
@@670dan Yes, we are almost completely off Acculynx and onto Job Nimbus. Now that I am using JN daily, I'm keeping a log of where it falls short of Acculynx, and also the areas where it's better. I was thinking about doing my own comparison video. What do you think? Would that be helpful?
@@homesteadroofing Awesome, I think that would make for some great content. It's hard to find any true comparison videos out there from actual users of both software!
Small western Canadian roofing company rep here; I have no experience with other CRM's, so my opinion may be limited. We have explored other CRM options, but always stay with JobNimbus. That being said, I think Nimbus is a fantastic CRM. It also integrates really nicely with Simplii phone's VOIP system through Google Chrome.
Not a fair comparison. Not a comparison video at all. There's no way to be objective about it when the person you interview is a JobNimbus employee. Sounds more like a sales pitch for JobNimbus, which is actually the inferior product. We've done extensive testing on both.
@@HookAgency I had left a comment on this video with several bullet-point comparisons of Acculynx vs JobNimbus, but then a couple days later I noticed it had been removed. Thought it was because my comments didn't fit the JobNimbus sales pitch. I'll try to recreate it.
Both have pros and cons. What would be better for just me, the small company I work for doesn't have a CRM. In past sales jobs I have used CRM's and know that they are vital for organization and growth.

Tracy, did you stick with your JobNimbus migration? I watched the second comparison video you two did, curious how it worked out? Thanks

What do you love about Acculynx - I’ll add your comparison to the blog post if you want! I Think it’s always good to share both sides of the story! :)

@@homesteadroofing sorry to hear that, that’s not our vibe. I’ll make sure our video person isn’t doing that. Thank you for taking the time.

I would consider JobNimbus just because all of the integrations! hookagency.com/blog/best-roofing-crms/
a sales pitch is not a comparison
Good point! Would love to have someone from Acculynx on..
