I think “The Little Mermaid Medley” was the best with Rachel Potter but I liked “Phantom of the Opera” and others, too. I read that she was a Walt Disney World Ariel for a time very early on. VoicePlay members also worked at the parks in Orlando back in the early 2000’s. Thanks for your reaction
Yes, her voice worked very well with Voice Play. She sounded like she was an actual member of the ensemble. Also, watching you enjoy the video so much gives me a lot of joy.
Check out the interview The Charismatic Voice did with Layne Stein (VP's beatboxer/HeiHei). Layne is the one who does most of the initial mixing for the group, so lots of insights.
Love your positivity and joy reacting to voice play! If you want to listen to one of their less ‘theatrical’ songs, I think Carry On My Wayward Son is one of their best covers. Go the Distance is also stunning.
Rachel has appeared with Voiceplay in at least eight videos, there may be more. If you are a "Nightmare Before Christmas" fan you should check out "Kidnap the Sandy Claws' by Voicplay fet. Rachel Potter.
Since you seemed to like this one I think you would also greatly enjoy their Little Mermaid medley with Rachel. I love this one, but in my opinion The Little Mermaid is even better. But growing up with that movie I could be a little biased 😬.
Your face says it all. Their harmonies are beautiful. Check out Can't Help Falling In Love, Tennessee Whisky, and so many more, True Colours... too many to mention.
Please check out their collaboration video for the song Just Sing . Rachel is in it and singers from Season 4 of The Sing Off. You'll recognize some faces and be sure to put the caption on. Thanks for reacting.
Enjoyed this!! My favorite VP covers that I'd love to see you react to: Eleanor Rigby, Warriors, You're My Best Friend, Carry On, Wayward Son. (I tend to prefer their 'real' songs, as opposed to movie medleys).
Things I love about this track: 1. "Know Who You Are" - this piece was breathtakingly beautiful, supported by Geoff's ethereal bass. 2. Layne's Hei Hei rap. I mean he was a rapping rooster! And yes, the Miranda was strong in this one. Things I didn't really like about this track: 1. The whole Tamatoa/Shiney sequence. This is not on Voiceplay, I just never cared for this big villain song even in the movie. Maybe not villainous enough? 2. Too much shiny crab time meant that the central showpiece song, "We Know the Way" did not get enough coverage and I missed it. WKTW slaps and I wanted more. All that said, thanks for this great reaction and I'll add my vote for Little Mermaid Medley, which is superb and also flawless. I will have much to say about Rachel Potter's performance in that video - she is a revelation. Cheers!

Highly recommend Geoff's cover of Black Bird and the Headless Horseman
I also love and recommend their Little Mermaid medley. It’s featuring Rachel too and is great!!
Soul Rumbling?
Carry On Wayward Son rumbles a bit. Also, Little Mermaid Medley is amaze-balls!
Layne and Geoff do most of the arranging, but a man named Ed Boyer does the mixing.

All these three are so very beautiful! I don’t see many reactions to True colours, but it’s so wonderful!

His best by far.
I recommend you check out Geoff's solo stuff, like Sixteen Tons or Blackbird
So good.
"we'll get through them all eventually" i feel lied to
Little Mermaid Medley is even better than this one.
Please react to Voiceplay’s Billie Eilish mashup and the Queen mashup they’re both great covers!
