I like the green color of these sandals. They look way too classy/ nice to just wear to the pool or beach.
I am definitely making a pair of these. I’m just a little confused about the leather that wraps around the part that goes between your toes. I didn’t see how you made that. It looks that you cut the two pieces of leather even but then after you stitched them together I noticed the center stitch with green around it. ??? I hope this makes sense.

Nice work. Those look cool as hell. I think I'd rough up the underside prior to stitching though. Why beat up fresh stitching with 60 grit or a wire brush if you don't have to??

I use rubber shoe soles i order on Amazon. Once I start making more of these, I'll have a better solution for soles.

Did you know that type of flip-flop sandle has been around for at lest 2000 years? My Wife and I saw the deadsea scrolls and every thing that was in the caves was also on display and some child left their flip-flop sandles behind. They were made with just two pieces of leather and the straps that held the sandles on the foot. Being Biblical minded I thought of Simon who was a tanner and aposrle Peter staded at his house. Acts 10:5, 6.

love the idea of the sandals! but whats up with those giant stitch holes? they look gross and having giant holes like that makes ur stitching weak. ive only seen holes like that used with a die and clicker press, where its worth it for the time saved😂 idk what this guy is thinking
