We bought this table just over a year ago - do the new games and new user interface make this better? Let me know what you thought of the video below, thanks for watching!
Yoooooo dubzzzzzzzz My infinity table usage is still going strong but can be stronger with more creative games and casino like games for dad here. Great video my man!
I was fortunate enough to get it at Walmart for $449 (32 inch) last year. It had to have been a mistake because they only had that price up for a few hours. I did the update the other day and it’s not bad. My wife and I actually play it a lot. It’s definitely not worth $899-$999.
@@nodd85 TTS is Tabletop Simulator, a virtual tabletop program that's available on Steam. The concept is actually very simple. I used a touchscreen all-in-one PC with TTS installed for the "brain" and just added some legs to it (cutting out the center of an existing table is also an option). Yes, it's a lot more work on the consumer's part to get it up & running, but you get pretty much unlimited functionality with it - you're not shackled to their choice of what games you can play (personally I'd never even open any of the kids content), and who you can play them with.
The pricing on that 18" table will be key, although at that size I can't see it being usable for more than two players max. It's disappointing that the online play is so limited - that's a huge missed opportunity and not consistent with Arcade1up's other products.
I like the table, but a lot of board games need three dimensions to hide the hand you're holding, or your pieces, like Battleship, Poker, Mahjongg, Guess Who, etc. The only way to realistically do that in a digital format would be to have a large play surface touch screen, and then two attached laptop monitor type screens that hings on the edges of the table, and flip up, kind of like every game show (password, 64,000 pyramid, etc). So to build this right, it would be a lot more complicated and expensive. And to have a locked android platform with limited CPU processor and RAM (2GB) with no expandability, then that's another knock against it. I would rather have a small phone type module that you can lock in to a USB-C port using something like a Samsung Dex type interface. And then as the tech becomes better and faster, you can just swap out the mobile processor unit and keep on trucking. But no ability to hide your pieces without some janky little plastic pieces and an honor system is just not going to cut it for me. As soon as that tech came out, the hardware was already a ticking time bomb. Now it's old and outdated.
I bought this a couple years back. It was a steals and deals offer on a morning news show. $699.00 free shipping. I do agree with this review, some games are fun, but not worth even the sale price I would invest in the retro arcade cocktail tables other companies are offering.
I wasn't ever gonna get this but we decided to pick it up through Kohls for the family last Christmas. Yeah got a lot of Kohls cash for kids clothes! I gotta say while sitting a bit low it's easily the best built product A1UP has any involvement in. Monitor looks great (quality pinball didn't get). 32" has a great side wrap and the glass truly holds up. Lately it's been the kinda games you'd see iiR release. Correct, zero business being on this device. A lot of great stuff, some filler and some garbage. I need Stratego to happen soon. Texas Hold Em too. Personally I think it's a great overpriced product. Buy through Kohls and $200 Kohls cash is a discount in my mind. Who doesn't need new undies!
Regardless that the price is high I think alot more people would've been willing to buy them myself included if they would've supported the product more with games and suggestions you had made being able to pair a Bluetooth controller. The online support to play other players is a huge thing too. It can't be too hard to setup a lobby to wait till another random player was selected to play against. I was contemplating buying one now but I just don't see the appeal when I can just buy a touch capacitive screen for placing over any size tv I want and running normal android which is 100 times more useful. Which I ultimately think is what I'm gonna do. I'll make it portable and you can switch effortlessly between android or windows if you want. Simply by shutting the unit down and turning it back on with a USB inserted for games.
Great job on the review!…..Just found one on FB Marketplace for $280! It’ll be me and the misses predominately playing the trivia and brain teasers. Grandkids may play it periodically when they come over. I agree with you and others, active USB ports for light guns, controllers etc; would boost the sales tremendously. Even then, it shouldn’t be over $400 bucks, tax included. Other than that, I think $280 is definitely worth it…..👍🏽🤗😂
I was shocked to here you say that you ran out of space to store games on something thats for board games. A quick google shows that this thing comes with 16GB of storage. That is truly ridiculous. They are charging $900 and cant give people and sensible amount of storage. I would expect a very overkill 100GB + just to future proof it. Only would have cost maybe an extra $5-20 dependent on component quality which is nothing on a $900 product. Huge oversight.
PDubs, Looks like a decent selection of games. Hope they'll continue making improvements. The thing that kept me from buying one (I was eyeing the 32" model), was the lack of killer app games (at least for me). If Arcade1up could get the complete version of Talisman the board game and all its expansions, and also bring some killer shooters to their line-up, like The House of the Dead, then they may just have themselves a new sale. I love me some light gun games, especially on a bigger screen, and I think if Arcade1up can release a wall mount adapter for the 32" version, and activate the usb ports allowing for Sinden lightgun support, the infinity game table may just be a winner. Keep us posted! vgv
I have the gameboard (The $500 model) and my family loves it so I just picked up the table as the board is kind of small for my older family members. My family loves Oh No, Scrabble and Monopoly.
With all the licenses the A1Up Arcade side of the house can get, it's disappointing how many knock-offs are on here vs. actual licensed games and board games.
Can you also just use this as a touch screen monitor? For example, could I plug in my laptop and use this as a touch display for D&D maps with electronic tokens?
How do you play multiplayer games with cards/tiles that need to be hidden from view of the other players? To me others could easily see your hand and just make playing" fair" not likely. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your review! Since I saw this game table the first time I dream about it every day... I'm confident I will love it! I do speak and understand English, but not my family... Is there a way to change language from English to French?
In my opinion, i wouldn't want it for online play as well as controller based games, this would be a board game thing for me. Though table top and trading card games would be cool as well.
Yourr video are awsome as usual. But I don't see myself spending that kind of money on that table. I hope one of these companies come out with something that is going to wow us !! Take care pdubs !!
I don’t know why I would want to spend that much money just to play a bunch of cheap Hasbro board games. The only game on there I would want to play that I could see is Ticket To Ride. I’d rather play the real board game anyways. 😊
Definitely does not look like it is worth $1000.00, especially since Arcade1up is only offering 50 games included and we have to purchase the rest without any included DLC? Seriously....
Bro this system is absolutely for families with young children. Of course you're not gonna want it just for your middle aged gaming need. No shit. It's absolutely worth the price if.... and IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT. It's actually the only solid build 1UParcade has ever made for the price point.
Lol. 1000 dollars. Playstation Xbox have we ever heard of those. Sheesh an iPad even. I got a Nintendo for 16 bucks with 600 games on it. I hook it up to my projector and play Mario at 200 inches. Oh I paid 100 for my projector
Good review and I’m tempted BUT it’s £900 in the UK that’s about $1100 US! They seriously need to review the price of this thing as it’s unrealistic for a 32inch touch screen TV with an Android box embedded. Shame really as the idea is great and it’s a pity they haven’t enabled the USB or game controller ports. Oh well…perhaps it’ll be on sale sometime soon in the UK as there must be a lot of stock as several shops have them but very few UK reviews!
This thing looks like garbage. For a device this size, why don’t see so much latency just scrolling through menus. The game selection seems really poor. I think this kind of device is good in concept but has tremendous missed opportunities.

But the touch screen looks like it’s very unresponsive as you often need to press more than once for it to respond . That would drive me crazy !
Depends on the game, covered this in the other reviews, some work great, some work crappy.

Glad to see they updated the UI. Its a cool product but too expensive. The smaller version, not sure how thats going to go over.
I like the new UI, still too expensive agreed 👍
Thanks for this! I'm glad I made my own using TTS instead of forking over the $ for theirs.

Yep over a year later and it still is a useless feature
Also, this table should have enough storage to store all the games. Such a cheap way for them to save money..
Yeah you only get a few GB of storage nothing to write home about
