Hellooooo Delci!! I just want to thank you for consistently sharing such great information. I love the visuals also. I think most people can learn something better when they can actually see it being done, and you’re amazing at that. I appreciate you sooo much!!! 😊❤️🙏🏼
Jerry Gann Hi Jerry! I hope all is well with you! You are such an encouragement to me 😊 We survived a trip to a town today a couple of hours away to stock up a bit on supplies. But there wasn’t toilet paper and we actually NEED some. 😆 Anyways. Hope you had a good day!
Does this also work for mites that cause hair loss around the around the mouth , nose, and the ears? And in that case, it would still be applied along the back? Thanks in advance.
Mites are completely different than lice. Mites burrow under the skin and you can't see them with the naked eye. You can see them in a microscope. Cylence MAY help with mites but most likely a shot of Ivermectin will be the answer to getting rid of mites.
I just started watching this video and I’m scratching my head! Ha ha I did treat my goat for lice or mites? I’m not sure which one. Do you use a microscope? If so, how do you go about capturing the specimen for looking for a lice or a mite? Also, I’m wondering what the look of lice looks like compared to the look of mites? I know my goat is rubbing her hair off in certain spots. How do you know when it’s clearing up? Is there certain signs? It could be that you answer all these questions in the video and I hope you do. Concerned about the milk I’m trying to get for my goats and I was told 10 days till I could use the milk again. Thank you.
If I remember correctly, the measuring tool at the top is formulated for cows and not goats. You don’t need that much. And I measured it out for the weight of a goat. I found it easier to give to them with a little syringe as well.
hi Delci Question can you do a video on how to get ride of fly or any kind of little fly bugs that bug your animals eyes ears ? for this summer for goats
Do you have a video on how to save a baby? I was offered a newborn of 2 days that fell in a hole and was separated from it's mom. They asked if I wanted to save it, of course I said yes. It's not eating on its own, it's full of lice ... I have force fed it with a dropper work done powder milk I got from tractor supply. It's pee'd and poo'd but it can't hardly hold it's head up for more than a second much less it's body. 😢
I don't have a video about that. But I'm so sorry you're needing to deal with this. It makes it harder when you so want to help and it's hard to know how to help them. Make sure the kid is warm, and kept in an upright position. You can prop it up, with its legs tucked under itself and head up. That's better than it lying flat. Keep it feed as much as possible. Sometimes, if they have been upside down or in a wrong position, it turns their insides inside out so to speak and it harms their rumen and they can't recover. I hope all is well with you and the goat.
Gn what drugs can i use to prevent miscarriage in goats? I’ve an ewe that aborted four consecutive times. She’s not going over three months. Awaiting your reply
Hello! Is it ok to use the cylence once my doe has kidded and has her babies around her? If they get the treatment on them will that have any adverse effects? They're about 4 weeks. Thanks!
Cylence is a great option for treating goats with lice. It can be used on kids and on does in milk. You will give 1cc per 25 pounds for lice treatment, repeat in 3 weeks. This liquid is distributed along the backline of the goat.
Thanks so much. I’ve had gaits less than a year and I noticed itching and then I saw the tiny bugs... going to tractor supply ASAP! I wanted to ask a question... have you ever had a hermaphrodite goat or any goat with defects?
I found that some straw bales I bought are infested with something that just torments my goats. Of course since the new straw went in for kidding, I have new babies. These babies seem to be affected the worst. DTE has slowly helped a little, but the babies are still twitching and itching. Would you treat 3 and 6 day olds with this Cylence, and how, since they're only about 6 to 10 pounds.
Granny used sulphur powder down the backline/spine, repeat in 2 weeks. Cheap and effective in almost all
cases.
Excellent! Thank you for sharing!
You do an awesome job on these videos!
I’m so glad you’re enjoying them! You’re very encouraging!

I hear you! I had just checked a few minutes ago and noticed I was in need of some tp also! 😂🤣😝. Folks always overreact it seems. 🤷♂️🧻
I treat my goats for external parasites the same way, only I use Ivermectin pour-on. My goats usually get mites in the winter but haven had lice yet.
Hi am from Jamaica hi love your page u help me out thank for everything ❤❤❤❤😊😊
How fast does it work ? I gave my goats some and wondering when the itching stops
It will be fairly quick. Within a day or so. Hopefully by now, they’ve stopped itching!
Hi what do you use for thick’s under their lip?

Doesn't the container allow you to pump the required amount into the other side so you can dispense without using a syringe?

You don't inject. You use the syringe without the needle.
