As told in a show on the History Channel; In a recent renovation at Duntrune they pulled up flat stones in the courtyard. Underneath one stone were the skeletal remains of two hands. Perhaps they thought the piper's ghost would not be able to find his hands.
It's not just 'Malcolm' but also 'MacCallum'. As a MacCallum I learned of this tale when I was a wee lad. I'm hoping to get married there. I'm glad I found your channel!
amazing story...loves these...love the pipes...the drums and pipes are very primal to me..have 3 lines of Scot...Dewar...McNeil....scot/irish Ralph(s)...and sometimes when i listen to them i think i came from another time...or several other times..
Oh man I remember herring this story when I was 9 years old on the Discovery Kids show Truth or Scare. (I was a documentary kid) Still love them as an adult.
Absolutely....i too saw this story on truth or scare by Michelle Trachtenberg at the same time you saw ...i was around 9 then....still remember that episode
Great ghosts story I enjoyed it can't wait to see more of your ghosts stories soon. Have you ever told a ghosts 👻 story of Sudeley Castle I heard it's a great place for haunted ghosts like the ghosts of catherine parr 😀
There’s another story like this about a MacDonald piper and a piobaireachd to go along with it The Pipers Warning to his Master Same cast of characters but took place at castle Dunnyveg on Islay
I am just now seeing this video and because of your comment, well your screen name actually, I checked out your channel and subscribed. I shall be binging on your videos now. I’ll be in Scotland June of next year, perhaps I’ll get the opportunity to hear you pipe should you have a public performance whilst I’m there. 😊
Scotland has what?, five and a half million. There are more Scots here in Canada and a lot of us grew up with these stories. Campbell's are still not trusted here. Clann Cameron of Lochiel is from wence my family hails. Taillear dubh na Tuaighe is my oldest known relative.
Love "Ghost Stories," Especially From "Scotland," merci.

Excellent history, Lord Dan De Lench.
Well told with a few embellishments which added to the legend that I'm familiar with.
I love it, you ser would be one amazing Dungeon Master
Masterful!!
Well done sir, I tip my hat to you. Sláinte mhath.
Great story!
I heard the old piper still plays his music because the Malcolms gave him an anglican burial, but not a catholic one.
Very nice production guys I've been loving these historical/story videos very much hope you guys keep it up Is toil leam seo gu mòr tapadh leat
Brilliant
I've heard of this story before years ago. I had forgotten the names, but believe the same.
Very very cool.
Heading there to stay in September! ill let you know if i hear or see anything.
❤️ Scotland 🏴
What is the name of the piper's farewell song in this video?
I love story time🥰…especially spooky story time 👻
There’s another story like this about a MacDonald piper and a piobaireachd to go along with it
The Pipers Warning to his Master
Same cast of characters but took place at castle Dunnyveg on Islay
That's the only one I believe.
Hey @4:02 is this that in North Carolina/South Carolina ?
What is the name of the Piobaireachdt heard
What were the piobaireachd and the farewell tune? I would assume they've been identified since the piper can still be heard occasionally.

Was in around 1800 the piper skeleton was found under flagstones
Interesting 🤨
Sgeulachd sàr-mhath, air innse gu math. 👻
Colla mo run, seachain an dùn, seachain an dùn, Colla mo run, seachain an dùn, tha mise laimh, tha mise laimh.
the thing is it was a Episcopalian Service for the pipet but he probally was catholic so not laid to rest
Recently they found his hands.

Great story. But you’ve got to drop the accent.
The accent is ok when quoting a character.
When u try sounding scottish you sound irish just never do this again🤣🤣🤣
