That midnight blue is also my favorite blue, love the orange with it in those socks. I'm finally on the sleeves of the worlds longest brown cardigan. Definitely taking inspiration and casting on something colorful next ✨
Working on some socks with cascade wave rn :D you inspired me to make some summer tops and I've already made 2 so far... I love it! I'm obsessed with your sheepless sunset glitch top ❤
I'm working on the Mosaic Jumper by Sandra Gutierrez since it's gonna be my Rhinebeck Sweater this year! Started early because even though I started early last year it was only a vest for the actual festival lol
If you can't find more of that blue ramie blend yarn, Lion Brand "Cotton Bamboo Linen" might be a more accessible alternative although it's a thicker sport weight. The fibers aren't exactly the same but they have the same properties: about half cotton with a split remainder of rayon (aka "artificial silk") and linen which is also a bast fiber like ramie (from the stems of the plants). It would have that jiggly bounce that bast fibers have along with that shiny silk/rayon luster. Also if that discoloration line is where you put your blocking pins (and the line wasn't there before) it might be because the fibers have been compressed which makes them more reflective and therefore read as lighter (hard to tell from the video). If that is the case it's possible it will come out in the next wash if the fibers have a chance to decompress.
micheals canada sells some lion brand yarns, 4 or 5 maybe. apparently it used to be available at walmart but i havent seen any. no idea why micheals doesnt stock it!!
While watching this I was working on my first ever knit swatch. I'm worried I'm doing it wrong as no one has told me if a swatch has to be purl or garter stitch. Otherwise trying to panic make baby jumper number 15, as number 14 was done in toddler size, ooops. Why is everyone pregnant right now?!?!?
Very unimportant but 12:15 is pronounced kind of like "shoyla volla". Wolle is "wool" in german but we call any kind of yarn "Wolle". So acylic yarn would be "Acryl Wolle". Funny, but cotton is "Baumwolle" meaning "tree wool" haha how stupid to write this 😂 Yeh, but yarn for us sounds more like "Garn" which is thread, but also "Faden" which is more like for sewing. But you can still call any yarn "Garn" but its more old fashioned to say that i guess. Idk Don't follow me for more useless, unwanted stuff 😂
I just cast on a beanie, gearing up for winter charity plans. I missed your yapping. I'm glad you are back at it. Your hair is lovely.
thank you!:)

its not easy to get in canada unfortunately!
@@Jackasscollective Oops I really would've thought Lion Brand would distribute in Canada as well, that's weird of them

no wrong way to swatch! i swatch for the stitch in the pattern. stockinette swatch for a stockinette pattern, twisted rib for a rib swatch etc!
@@Jackasscollective Ah ok then, many thanks for this tip. That does make sense as why do a garter stitch if pattern is rib stitch. Yay 🥰
