Hi Lauren. These tips are excellent, thank you. I have read my learning outcomes in the study guide and turned them into questions and wow, what an absolute game changer! Thank you for your content!
Hi Lauren ❤️ Thank you so much for the information it definitely is enlightening and im looking to implementing some of tips in my studies. Tip 8 hit home, i really tend to panic toward exam period even though I do well and it takes abit of a toll on my mental wellbeing. Hoping to learn to find balance this year. Nonetheless thank you so much for your tips. I hope you realise that your channel is helping so many students. God bless ❤️🙏
Hi angel 👼🏼 I’m so so happy that you’ve found my video helpful - do let me know if it helps you in the next semester!! 🤗🤗 Exam season is the worst oh my word, I hope that you find balance in future ❤️ Thank you so much for supporting my channel, knowing that the content is helping people is all I want and I love to hear that it’s doing so 🥺✨
It’s not that much work per week to be honest, the more you read the faster you’re able to do so 👏🏽 and during lectures I just pay attention to what the lecturer says instead of trying to copy the slides because they get uploaded online anyway 🤗 If you combine the slides, readings & notes every week and then summarize them - you’ll be good✨✨ Breaking up the work that has to be done for assignments before the due date also helps - if there’s anything I’ve learnt the *hard way*, it’s that the little things you do everyday will pay off way more than doing big tasks all at once 😂 Hope this helps, organization & planning is key xx
I recognise those codes I’m in second year😂😂did 2A and 2C and all the sociology modules. I didn’t get distinctions in first semester but I want to try harder
I legit hate summarizing, currently doing my final year in a BSc in Human Physiology,Genetics and Psychology, my fav and where I perform the best is psychology but the making of notes for the module literally drives me up the wall!! Great video though👌😂
Pepsy Masango hiii , Sorry to bother but I'm currently doing grade 11 interested in that course , so I was wondering if you could answer some of my questions please 🥺
@pepsy Masango okay so I got my end of year marks and I didn't perform really great idk if I should go on with applying next year or not basically I want to know the requirements coz I'm getting 60s in other subjects but failing maths I wanna know if the university will even take me or should I apply for courses I qualify for and change the course when I get to campus I have alot of questions 😭💔
If you can manage to get a 50 for maths, you can apply for a BSc Biological Sciences extended program, then you get to enroll for the triple Major the following year. Or you can just apply for something that doesn’t require maths, then apply for transfer to the course of your choice halfway through first year.
Hey Lauren! Firstly, love your videos!😭❤️ You’re amazing and I love the content. Secondly, I have a question... when it comes to applying for uni, what would you say is the minimum you’d need for your average/crucial subjects in order to secure a place in the university?
Mama Durag hi hi!! Thank you so much for the love and support 🤗 I can’t really say because all universities have different requirements and different numbers with regard to the students they can accept per course 💔 Meeting the minimum requirements doesn’t guarantee a space so I would advise getting a mark that is as high as you can possibly manage 🙌🏽
Yeah I try to do my notes and readings immediately before and/or after class before we move onto new content because it can go from 0-100 REAL QUICK 😂❤️
Thanks so much for this video. However Im still a bit confused. Im applying to do my Honours in Psychology next year and would really love to go to Stellies. My first year grades were actual trash but i managed to get distinctions for psychology in both semesters in 2nd year . Im waiting for my 1st semester results for my third year. The requirements on the website have said one needs distinctions for Psychology 3 to be admitted, but if I have the same marks as another students it was explained to me that admissions would look at my marks from previous years. Sorry for the long comment but I really didnt know who to ask, and I feel like God made me cross paths with your channel for a reason. So graduating Cum Laude means achieving a gpa of 3.5 in your third year? Or is it based on a culmination of all units done in your degree. Im under Monash South Africa so our distinction is different to that of South Africa since we fall under Australia in terms of what we study and how its graded. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. Love you and your channel❤❤
Thank you for watching 🤗 It’s difficult to give a straightforward answer because every university has a different selection process - as far as I know they look at your 3rd year results but may also look at previous results if needed. I doubt they look at your 1st year results because most people experience a dip due to the adjustment from high school 🙌🏽 To my knowledge, graduating cum laude means having an average of 75% and above for your entire degree 📜 I’m sure you’ll do absolutely amazing during this year and that you’ll get into Stellies ✨ Thank you for the love 🤗
What is a study tip that has really helped you? 🤓
Tip #1 and tip #8❤️❤️
So glad I could be of some help 🤗

How do you balance writing all your notes on time AND completing assignments as well as lectures?

@T M Well Practice independence and planning your time wisely. If you have any issues don't bother calling them or emailing just go to campus
Aaaah no 😂😂 That book is golden!

Always a pleasure , I’m glad I can be of help! 🤗
how do you stay up to date with your notes? do you revise weekly?

Good
Where did/do you study?🌿
I studied at the University of Johannesburg 🧡
@@LaurenUnalomeWellnessCo Why do I think you went to Stellies, I have been a subie for months if not for more than a year
Why range of marks did you achieve in high school?
Mostly got in the 70’s 🤗
