- Split Type Aircon (Air Conditioner) Installation of an LG Dual Inverter on a very bad wall finishing. This Split Type Air Conditioner was installed on a non-plastered wall (walang palitada). It was very cool after installation.
Installation was done on a very old house with really poor plastering on the inside and no plasters on the outside wall. They did a good job even with poor location. The split air conditioner system was blowing cold air and cools the room really fast. And these two installers even did the work on the 24th of December 2018. Very promising.
To answer some of the questions in the comments, here are some details:

Regarding my electric bill, I am not yet sure what is happening because my bill seem low. I was previously paying 1k-1.3k but my bill for this month of March is 1.3k. Last February was 800+. Right now, I use it 50% of the time because I work in my room and I also have my bed here. Basically, I don't feel it's a big addition on electric bill.

The design makes this AC a possible alternative to ductless DYI systems. It works great. The remote control could be more visual aid oriented like a backligh design. We have new LG Split type like yours we baught it last week its so cold like im in a snow .And i Can Wake my self bcause of the coldness i love it!.And The Workers Go to our house and put our aircon on the room!.

Can effectively be operated without vaccum? I have the same AC and it was installed without vaccum!! Its cooling efficiency is not so good!! Fans and filters are so clean???

Very poor A/C installation skills, looped excess line is trapping oil needed for the compressor to run and have long life. Also flaring technique is marginal as you did not ream the pipe edging to get a good solid leak resistance seal. Keep getting better guys.

Looped excess line is a must in installing split type system, its called a P-trap or a U-trap

I think it serves as a cover or seal for the wires to avoid short circuit when there is rain or water.
Oil trap
Because the distance of the indoor unit is less than 3 meters from the outdoor unit and that is the best position to place the the outdoor unit. So basically in order to comply with the minimum pipe length they used that technique.

Yup. Hehhehe. From solano, nueva vizcaya. Authorized installers are only good if you think you can use the warranty. Else there are other options out there that are cheaper. Ask businesses nearby where they offer car aircon repair or the likes. I'm sure they may be able to provide their services.

May i ask that with a very long allowance for the copper tubing provided, most Installer choose to place the Condenser unit soooo high above the ground, where possibly on the ground or just a little higher than 4"inches is Ideal? Do you bring out extra length of those pipes when you are done with the Installation???
10 feet is their standard. Beyond that you'll have to pay for extra length

Do not buy LG aircons. I'm using LG Artcool without WiFi function less than a year. From day 1, all 4 units create noise when the fan is oscillating, regardless up-down or left-right. Technician could not do anything. Then I stop oscillation, but start to notice master room aircon started to produce tiak tiak sound, and made me cannot sleep at night. different LG technicians came but cannot resolved the issues. waste my time. Now I am sleeping in guest room. guest what, I again notice the same sound, except it is softer than my master room. Super pissed. Paid 4-5K SGD for this kind of defective products.

i had the same ac bought it 4 years ago its 9k BTU inverter V and yes so many noises cannot work wind noise etc... anyway i upgraded to dual inverter 12K btu few days ago its amazing

Still depends on how you maintain your unit. Those brands are good but it comes with a high price. Just my opinion.

recently bought LG dual inverter pero parang di po masyadong malamig. (matic naka set po sya sa 16 and ung parang snow flakes) i dont know kung okay lang i compare sya sa window type na AC pero mas malamig nilalabas nung 4 na window type AC po namin. There are lots of technicians everywhere. I am sure there are shops providing car aircon services. I'm positive they also provide split type aircon services.

A 1hp air conditioner can only cool an average of 10sqm. The 3rd room will have minimal cooling or barely noticeable. If your rooms are small, it's cheaper to buy 3 window type .6hp air conditioners.

Bumili nalang po kayo ng NON INVERTER R410A na aircon kahit anong brand same lang po ang mga quality nila. Basta non inverter for sure tatagal hangang 10 taon o higit pa

@@redh3903 you can do it yourself or let them do it for a fee. Warranty won't be voided. I never rely on warranties though.

For a 10 sqm room, get a 1HP. For 20sqm, 1.5-2.0HP. With the aircon that I have, I only use 40% energy once the room is cool in a few minutes and that is comparable to a 0.4HP air conditioner.

If you plan on buying LG, don't bother doing it yourself because the installation will be free. The installers will take care of it. You don't need to buy anything. You will only have to pay 500 for their fare. This I think is a promotion by the company until February 2020.
