@@ibelieve1468 Well explained, I did not consider that Spiderman may not have any knowledge of fly lines or sink lines. Thanks for that one. Just to let you know that I get your point on lighter rods. I have purchased a few 6#. I will not go back to 7# apart from a Loomis which I have. But these modern 6# are so powerful. I have a McKenzie Grafine and Hardy Sintrex 330. My old 6# is nothing like these rods. I am now converted. I am sure there is many out there that would not be aware of what benefits a 6# can have. Mind I am not talking about all 6# as my experience is just two rods. Take care mate. Oh really nice seeing your comment after so long.
@@shaunfishes101 lovely reply, yes been a while I stopped commenting on all utube vi's for a while as I can come across as an abrupt know it all but I don't mean too. glad you have moved over to the dark side with lighter rods u don't need 7-8 really unless fishing a big res I suppose. I too have converted to a #6. After I bought a second hand sleeper rod with the rapping still on the handle a Greys platinum xd its only a 9ft rod but its magic. Plus it casts all the many 7 lines even my 40+ di7 if I want to. Bit I just keep it for floaters normally. I have teamed it up with a #6 weight shorthead from the infamous Sunray and it casts a full line when I get it all perfect lol. However if a muddy place I use my other floater in #7 not to ruin the shorthead as its white I don't like white lines even if the best casting line I have ever used. Ps try a good fast action #5 rod with your #6 floater u will be amazed.
@@shaunfishes101 great thank you. Rio do some fantastic lines, tho I haven't tried that one. (Yet)😁
