I am also a light medium olive so not wanting to gamble on the bronzer undertone which looks a bit orange. Tom also did a video on it and he wasnt entirely impressed, so that felt good to hear 😅

I feel like I'm one of the rare ones who is LOVING the auric palette. Since I got it, it's been the only cream blush & cream bronzer I use (I set both with powder blush & powder bronzer). I love how it's so easy and all in one compact. The blush is the perfect everyday shade for me too. I have fair cool-toned skin (in armani luminous silk I wear shade 3.75, for reference) and I got the lightest shade of the auric palette, and the bronzer doesn't look orange on me personally.
I’m not olive but I am somewhat olive adjacent- I have cool pink skin with some blue tones, so overall I’m kind of purple. Everything also turns orange/yellow on me. Thank you for saving me from buying this palette! I was seriously considering it 😂

I love Sam, and I wanted to buy this palette but I am a very cool fair olive, so with shipping, and taxes to Europe it would be to expensive especially if I can't use the bronzer. I think I have found only few bronzers that don't go orange on me.... buuut I am finally buying Morganite - yay.
Hi there. I’m also a cool fair olive. Most bronzers are fluorescent orange on me. I thought this would go orange on me but it actually does not. The blush and bronzer are definitely on the warmer side, but not outright orange. More of a warm summer glow.
Everyone I’ve seen that doesn’t like the bronzer shade (kackie included) has put it on and it looks absolutely perfect so maybe it’s one of those “you’ve got to just trust it and try it” shades. Sam is very fair and neutral these days now she’s lost her tan, and it does look amazing on her skin tone, I’m very tempted to just try it but it’s a big shipping expense for me in the UK to try it so I’m on the fence

@ Keep in mind, it is still a warm look. I do think it’s flattering, but it is the warmest I can go without looking orange. I actually really like the formula - it goes on well over top of powder - so I hope in the future she comes out with a cool tone version (my version of neutral)

The leaf blower is back!!! I went back and forth over buying the Auric palette the day it came out and ultimately decided to wait hoping she'll release the individual pans so you can customize your own palette or at least swap things out. I love the blush color from the medium palette but thought the bronzer would be too deep on me and based on this review I think I'm right. But I love everything Auric has come out with so far and Sam is incredible

I really like MOB. I just discovered them and their cream eyeshadow in M112, is the best natural neutral on me shade eyeshadow. I also have a powder shadow that packs a punch.
No offense, but that weird Auric bronzer color is exactly what my hair looks after a recent hair color appointment disaster. How can a color look simultaneously green and orange??? That does absolutely nothing for my pale olive pancake face. Now I gotta color correct the crap out of my hair. Sad to see, but glad I waited for this review. I bought the Auric face palette in Light but haven't used it yet. The main appeal to me was having everything in one palette. I'm currently living out of a suitcase & homeless ( we sold our house quickly & moved out of state the first week of Nov to be closer to family after a couple medical emergencies) I only use cream & liquid complexion products but it's a hassle pulling out multiple makeup bags & digging thru individual products when you're in a motel. I thought the palette would simplify things. I will say I am pretty fair but cool tones do not work on me, especially if they're too grey or blue based. But shades that are too warm are often too strong/deep for me. I have a lot of redness that can read as pink but my skintone is very peachy. I like a coral blush & a neutral bronzer. I was really torn between the Med & Light palettes because I liked the overall color of the blush/bronzer in the Med but was afraid the bronzer/highlighter would be too deep. The downside of face palettes for me has always been the blush in light palettes being too cool pink & the bronzer/highlighter in the med/deep being too dark even if the color would be perfect. If Auric offers refills I might order the Med palette's blush. Anyway, I think that balm offers flexibility since it changes the finish & sheers out whatever you mix it with. I use a palette & mix anyways & that is another advantage of cream or liquid complexion products in my experience. As much as it would be nice to just use makeup out of the bottle & have it be perfect, that has not been my experience (especially with foundation) Hopefully Auric will develop more shades & allow for customization. You never know until you put it on your face how the color/texture will work. 🤷♀️
Ok definitely going to try the Sarah Creal concealer. I look like a zombie my under eyes are so dark. I’m fair cool. I even use concealer when I’m just staying home and not wearing makeup bc I hate the way they look.
I’m light (neutral) olive and I could tell from the beginning of the video, the way the bronzer looked on you (and knowing your undertone) that the auric bronzer wouldn’t suit me. Your friend is right, it would just look off. Maybe muddy?? A little dirty 🥴 lol rosiness is a go too, or (preferably) something a little grey. If I’m lucky, green 🤌🏼 but that’s few and far between. The shade “desert” in my groundwork palette has been my best brontour shade EVER. I wish I had a big pan of it. CT, Danessa Myricks and Veive are all calling me with their bronzer/contour shades. So there’s that if anyone cares lol maybe my references could help someone because lord knows we are on a never ending hunt 🫒

That Auric cover does literally look like the dinosaur egg packaging of a toy I bought for my friend’s 7 year old….. so, that is an unfortunately valid critique 😅 also, thank you for doing this video. I thought the palette was leaning cool, so seeing it on your skin tone helped me stop and think instead of just buying it.
The Ravie lip oil is heavenly. Like laniege but more convenient and just a titch thinner while still gripping so well. Also somehow they make my lips look so pretty. Great for gym makeup or no makeup makeup.

Vieve is more traditional, like beauty community makeup 😂 does that make sense? Like the shimmers SHIMMER. The YSL is more understated. I still probably prefer YSL but Jesus at what cost
