For all the People who are writing bad comments below. I'm a professional opera singer myself, so I will give critic on your stupid comments. The only factor you forget while listening to Sabbatini in his age is that everybody including "you" who are not even famous singer or maybe not even singer at all will age. For his age and maybe the unknown circumstances it is a great performance. The high not doesn't even lack anything. If you can do it just feel free and do it better. Most people don't even think of the human factor nor the circumstances professional singer have to go through to satisfy stupid people in these times. Have you ever thought about the fact of jetlag that singers go through? Just imagine you have to sing in the deep night time your peak performance while you body is still not tuned to the time shift because you are in Japan not in Italy. A jet-lag needs one week to adjust. But in modern times you don't get a week before rehearsal and concert. I had this too. I flu from NYC to Munich and arrived at 7am in the morning. The very day I had to do a recording for a CD at 2pm. The other day the performance with the same piece. No one cares. I'm not whining here, it s just the bloody truth and then you get those stupid "non singer" commenting such great voices. If he could not sing at all because he is 99 years old I might agree because it is also his responsibility to know what to deliver to the audience. But here I think you should think first before you just try to turn somebody down.
@@Ifachorg I think it's more the question in what condition you are in than just saying that everyone sings better in their sixties which is not true. It's only a hand full of singers who still sing fabulously in their sixties. Well, they might have a wonderful reliable technic and a good body condition.
@@jamestolksdorf Not everyone, James, I agree, I did not mean that. Sabbatini, in the video, might be in his mid fifties. Still, you, James, are a young singer and I can only sell experience now! Thanks for your comment!
He might not be feeling well. Transposed a half-step down.
Nothing like the great, younger Sabbatini.
Слушаю с удовольствием, кому-то может и не нравится, но я слушаю и любуюсь им и его исполнением!

You can sing better in your sixties than in your forties. Nothing to do with age
