Compass Box products were my gateway to scotch. Their kindness when I emailed them about my Hedonism left a great impression on me.
I will not be able to get these No Names..But, your video gave me an idea to attempt to be like Glazer and blend my own No Name. I found an old travel exclusive liter of Laphroig PX triple cask last year and I love Clynelish 14. I will make a small batch of my own blend after I check out the tree on the website.

I'm just getting more excited about this. Bought a bottle about a month ago but I recently lost my sense of smell due to Covid. I'll be waiting till that comes back before I jump into this one.
losing that taste and smell is scary. Been there. Still waiting for smell to completely return (15 months later).

I loved the first Compass Box No Name. The second one was just too expensive so I never bought it... Wonder what this third batch costs.

No Name Edition 1 was maybe my favorite peated whisky. Sadly, my palette has morph back to sherry so I'm not sure i'd find this enjoyable. hopefully I'll rotate back to peated soon.

Compass Box is what made me love scotch more than bourbon. The bourbon chase is ridiculous for stuff that isn't even great. Scotch.. my goodness. Not many people chase it and it's so much better now.

Instead of a 74 percent Laphroaig, I think I would just go ahead and get me a hundred percenter myself. Don't really want to soften the Peat finish, myself. Thanks guys! 👍👌🤘✌️😎

@@ScotchTestDummies Really enjoy your videos. I am not a scotch fan, peat just doesnt do it for me. I am however a bourbon dummy. Have only had one Compass that was the Oak Cross.. Was not bad drinkable for me. If I can find the No.3 I will give it a try.
See if you can find a bar with Compass Box peat monster. Give it a try. It’s what ushered me into peats

$140-$160 it better be good. i love my Laphroaig so it may be worth it but i am thinking a good Isla from SMWS may be better.
It is very nice, from one peat head to another but Compass Box is more subtle in regards to the peat while inviting a smorgasbord of flavor to the bottle.
