Question - How do you access tone, vibrate, or nick from the handheld unit? It looks like the unit has one button that can do one of these things based on settings in the app. What if you need to QUICKLY go from tone to vibrate to nick? This appears to require going to the app and changing the handheld device button settings. What if you need to react quickly in the field to correct a dog that is running away? Seems complicated. Thanks for any feedback!
Great review. Is this functional to be ran two different mobile devices ? For Example can me and my fiancé both have the mobile app and be logged into the same account?

Im having a problem, I have 2 collars of pathfinder 2 , i used them like maybe 15 times, and first one collar lost signal after 100feet now both lose signal after 100f? Antenas are both fine. Can anybody help?
Can I save and share tracks with others? I had a friend who asked if I could send him a map/track in GPX format. It doesn't look like there's a map export function in the app.
Range will depend greatly on the terrain. The rougher terrain and the thicker the vegetation is, the less range you can expect. Most places you'll see max range out to 1.5 miles in perfect conditions. If you predownload off lines maps of the area you plan to hunt, to your phone, no cell service will be required.

Geo fences can be used for a variety of purposes, including marketing, security, and law enforcement. E fence A physical fence that uses an electric shock or pulse to trigger a response when an animal enters or leaves the assigned area. E fences are often used for agricultural fencing and to control non-human animals. They can also be used to protect high-security areas like prisons and military installations.
I have Treeing Walker Coonhound issues. This isn’t strange, her nose eyes and instincts launch pursuit. I need to get a trainer tracker and also apply some training to me and my Coonie. Are you finding the Dogtra Pathfinder 2 stimulation setting something that will effectively stop a very instinctual coonie from running off after a critter?
Honestly, yes it would be. It is laid out much better than the other tracking systems in my opinion. I have been running the original Pathfinder that I bought for almost 5 years now and have had 0 issues with it.
I've had 4 junk dogtra 2 in 4 months, now the fourth one stopped working. Of course it's past the 30 day return deadline. Garmin lasts for years. Dogtra=junk

I wish there were a way to choose between tone vibrate and correction right from the transmitter
That's my concern right now also as that's what my current collar has and what my dog is trained on.

If you have the ecollar locked on the app does that lock the function button on the GPS receiver also

No, it has a limited range. Generally no more than a mile or so.
