Hi Dan and Leslie!! Sailed on The Magic in 1998 - its Inaugural sailing and met Michael Eisner on board!! Sailed The Magic again in 2012 - a 5 night cruise out of NYC to Nova Scotia!! Both were fantastic!! Had a 4 night sailing booked on The Fantasy for November 2020 but Covid cancelled our plans. Thanks for all the information!!
We have added the 4 night out of port canaveral on the wish when we come over from the UK in August. Exciting. Really fancy Alaska or Norway but wanted to trial a short cruise 1st. Thanks for the great info, really appreciated ❤
Great video! I have 2 favorites as well. The Wonder was our first cruise (Bahamas) in 2008, so I love her for that, but also, the best itineraries...Alaska, Hawaii, Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia. Wow! My other favorite is the Fantasy. Such a great ship! I've not yet experienced the Wish.
We chose the Magic. We live in Texas and the 7 day double private island double dip to San Juan in March of 2025 will be our first. An advantage of the ‘small’ ships is the islands are sized for the big ships and so our 2700 will feel spacious.
I’m currently looking to book my families first Disney cruise. Family (my wife, my daughters and myself; daughters age 5 and 2) - it will be in July 2025, 5 night stay so I’m in between Dream and Magic. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much for this video. This is exactly what I was wanting so I could compare the ships. I’ve never been on a cruise, but I am a total Disney freak and know everything about Walt Disney World, a little about Disneyland, and not much at all on the ships, so thank you again
If I had one week of vacation to spend at any Disney park (except Tokyo Disneyland) or one week on DCL I would choose a Disney cruise every time! The ships are a much better overall experience and so much fun!
We went on the wish in Sept (4 night) & Dec (3 night). We want to book soon maybe for April or May but a 7 night and another in Sept , looking at 5-6 night maybe out of Fort Lauderdale. We are orlando Natives so easy drives. We have a placeholder for our next one. I want to try out different ships since we did the wish twice.
Do you think DCL will ever upgrade the TVs on their older ships? That’s a huge turn off for us because we really love to lay in bed and watch movies as a family at the end of the night.
I’m not financially ready to book a trip but was wondering when we are ready it will be our first cruise so do you recommend the smaller ship for a first timer? I wasn’t sure if the larger ship would be overwhelming
When booking through you or Get Away Today, or do you have to call and pay? Can everything be done through email or do you still have to talk to someone when you book a cruise? I usually like to do everything on my own, but would rather just pay online and not have to talk to anyone lol, but the onboard credit is Appealing. I know Dreams you can just do it all online, but was maybe looking at someone else.
We can absolutely do everything through email/online. No travel agency that books Disney for clients that I am aware of actually accepts money, they should all process your credit card with Disney directly.
I want to book a trip, but for me I want the best one so. I don't wanna be bored so people help me choose the right ship,I'm going with a 10 years old and 5 year boy .
Definitely fill out a quote request at Fantastical Vacations and we can set you up with a Travel Advisor that can answer your questions. It does not cost you any extra to do this.
I just went on disney wish cruise and it was AWESOME for kids. There were so many activities for kids. And alot of things for the adults too. If you have a 10 and 5 year old kid. I recremend Disney Wish. They also have many kids clubs.

We just sailed on the Fantasy and it is a beautiful ship. You’re in for a treat! We booked our next DCL vacation while on board too!

Valid points for sure!

by going to both islands we are saving $800 we would have spent on add on excursions.
Which cruise leave out of Miami Florida?
None out of Miami, just Fort Lauderdale and that depends on when you want to sail

how good is the free coffee?
Not as good as the paid coffee in Cove Cafe. But…it’s caffeine 😂
Do they have anything for Audits to enjoy on all Disney Cruise ships??
Yes, lots!
I’m not financially ready to book a trip but was wondering when we are ready it will be our first cruise so do you recommend the smaller ship for a first timer? I wasn’t sure if the larger ship would be overwhelming
Not necessarily, I think I would base it on price and itinerary in that case.
@@AddictedtotheMouse Good to know…Thank you 💚
