Play Warcraft Rumble on your PC for free with Bluestacks! bstk.me/sWhzdqO1q (affiliate link) Errata: When you buy a Mini of a higher rarity than Common from the G.R.I.D., you nowadays get more stars than you pay for, as you get all the stars needed for that rarity. So, for a Rare, you get 14 stars (1 for the mini + 3 for uncommon + 10 for rare) in addition to skipping the upgrade material cost if your Mini is not a Rare yet. This small difference does not change the advice given in the video, which remains correct.
Adding more information. The value for minis are 270 gold for uncommon upgrade (+4 stars, upgrade to uncommon if not yet), and 900 gold for rare upgrade (+14 stars, upgrade to rare if not yet). So uncommon is 67.5 gold / star (25% cheaper). Assuming rare material is 250 gold, then rare is 53.57 gold / star (40% cheaper) or 64.29 gold / star if not upgrading (29% cheaper). The leader stars are almost always 4/3 times the gold cost of minis. I started seeing rare after roughly 1/3 of my units are uncommon. I have never seen an epic yet, would love to know the gold cost there. I also noticed that if you get the upgrade from the grid, then it will spawn a trait (250 gold) in the grid after the buy.
You could almost make an entire video about using the Move button. I ran into a situation where I had gold stacking up but bad Grid results for multiple days. Realized you could use the extremely cheap Move to clear as many minis I didn't want in order to open up more options. They have us playing Candy Crush in Warcraft Rumble.
Wow this really helped me. I just got my first rare in the shop and was debating getting it but it would be all my gold. I think it's better to wait by the sounds of it
So far, it does not appear that anything would change the odds of getting rares in the grid. It is completely random. The people who have maxed their stars have done so mostly by buying individual stars from the grid.
Correct. At uncommon, you get one talent slot, so you can only buy one talent for the mini and you cannot replace it. At rare, you get a second talent slot, at which point you can buy a second talent. A mini can only use one talent at a time, so at rare you can switch between the two talents that you have. And at epic, you get the third talent slot and can use any one of the three.
You can expect around a 50/50 split between Hearthstone and Rumble content in the near future. After that, we'll see if Rumble stuff gets views or not and whether it will be worth continuing with Rumble.
i find it not that complicated but extremely bad explained by the game itself. so you bust out a ton of gold when youre a newbie just to get stuck very early.

Excellent summation.

Sharing this video with others, good place to start, thanks!
What increases the rarity of minis in the grid? does collection level increase the odds of rare or uncommon minis in the grid as 25 of them is a lot!

I’m excited for this one - thanks OG!
subbed for teaching this
Awesome and clear!
1:44 Its the other way around xD
This mechanic looks soooo predatory, damn!
Yeah... going to give the game a go but I fear it's going to be waaaay.too much p2w
I'm playing this game f2p. Like when I started Hearthstone about 10 years ago. LFG! GG
oh damn, i picked the wrong ability for my leader and now have to grind half a year it feels to get the right one, IF it shows up in grid then
so you cannot remove a talent after you slot it to replace it with a better one?

Soft launch. The game is out in Australia, Philippines, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. The rest will come on November 3rd.
ty! that explains it, I'm from Italy@@OldGuardian
This mechanic seems too overcomplicated
When Blizzard said "more than 9 deck slots would be too confusing" they were right, damn.
i find it not that complicated but extremely bad explained by the game itself. so you bust out a ton of gold when youre a newbie just to get stuck very early.
this system is BS they make it complicated on purpouse so people waste gold and then need to buy more gold from the shop
Ty. This system seems so unnecessarily confusing. I smell a massive p2w
