Minb-blowingly amazing! WOW….🤩 I absolutely love it with all my heart! I admire your skill, patience and talent. 👏👍🥇🫶. Thank you for sharing and teaching the rest of us the beautiful art of origami which in Japan has such a long tradition and history - greatly appreciate your kindness! Best wishes and hope you & yours enjoy a wonderful holiday season. 😊 🎄🎁
I will keep this video in my reference folder for future uses. I have been folding Origami over the 8 years, to me you are the best! Your videos come with graphics and clear demonstrations which help us tremendously, not only that you also respond to us whenever we have questions or stuck during making models. There are many Origami videos on UA-cam but most of the authors did not provide clear instructions. Their hands are all over the models, never show the finished of each stage for us to see how it looked before go to the next, the worst they never respond to us! I wonder why they have UA-cam for? All the best to you and yours.
Thank you so much💕. Your comments and questions are so clear that make me happy to answer. Also, unlike the traditional origami models, my models are not perfect, so comments and questions are very valuable to me.
Sweet Paper - I was confused at 1:40 because It said 1/3, after evaluations I figured it out it should be 4 equal parts and the 5 is a little bit larger. Hope you agree with me, if not my English is still broke no matter how long I have been living in USA 😞☹️😩🥺
@@bannguyen5057 If it was folded up to exact "1/3" line at 1:40, it would be 5 equal parts. But I wanted to make the 5th part slightly shorter that the other 4 parts. As you wrote, "4 equal parts and the 5 is a little bit 'longer →shorter(?)'" might be better way to explain.
Amazing model!! The only other one paper icosahedron model i know is from Kawasaki one with a square....a lot more difficult to fold. This one is just superb and so easy!!!
@@shithi31st first time I tried it didn’t close properly. Second time it worked but still needs a bit of glue as the paper I used was from a shopping bag repurposed 😃 but it was easy the second time
Question #1: I use 8.5” x 11” USA letter size paper to cut into 1:1.4 ratio as your recommendation. At 1:08 my Right and Low corner point not touch the pinch target? My rectangle papers maybe not as same as yours? Question #2: letter size cut into a square first then follow your instruction for 1.1.4 ratio, at the result it is 215mm x 153mm. Isn’t Ok? I need to cut my papers to make Origami transforming cubes. Thanks
Q1. The video at 1:08 is an isosceles right triangle theorem. The sides of the i.r.triangles are in the ratio 1:1:square root of 2 (1.4142...). I wrote 1 : 1.4, but it's actually 1 : 1.4142..... 0.01 isn't matter for small size origami. But that might be the reason why ?? Q2. Yes,153 mm x 215 mm is 1 : 1.4, but it might be too small to make the transforming cubes. Rather, I recommend 198 mm x 27.94 mm (7.78" x 11").
I had made the 3 triangles transforming model and my grandkids love it, therefore I want to make your ASA I can. I will try to cut a blank letter size first (then write each size for later use) and try making it to see if paper sizes are good nor not, then use good durable Origami paper for final. Thank you very much for your time.
Wahhh this nicee! You always have great ideas! Have a great holiday season! I think it is pretty cold in Japan now isn't it? Happy holidays ! Arigatogouzaimas!

Finally i found a pure origami non modular icosahedron
😇
Excellent. Thank you for taking the time to video your tutorial and sharing on UA-cam. Well done🖖🇺🇸

Sweet Paper - You are correct! I also wish at 6:15 identify top and bottom carefully then mentioned the bottom is smaller would be great!
Yeah, I wonder why I didn't mention it. I revised the English subtitles at that point. Thank you😌.
Amazing Design!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I think it is hard.

I love how butt easy this is even in x2 speed
Nice Work!, I subscribe!
You make it look so easily
Nice origami
WOW ??? I like it
Happy holiday season! Clicked as soon as I could! I love some good origami to liven my day.
Thank you as always. Happy holidays, too!
You are awesome!)
Bravo
Can you pls do a redo with more explanation and detail this is still so confusing
Question? At 6:14 The top is the 1/5 little larger than the bottom 5/5 of the width? However it is done! Thanks
Yes, that's right and you've done already. Congratulations✨
Really easy until the closing. I can not make it 3D. Too vague in my opinion.
Lovely
If you want to be REALLY exact, it’s actually 1:sqrt(2) in ratio, or the A series of paper.
❤❤❤❤❤

Yes, it's very cold here. Arigatou and happy holidays!
Oh yhea
that is really hard! i cant do it
TIL how to make 5:7 ratioed paper!!
root 2 paper
1:18 this step is so hard pls help
But, you are speaking japanese or mandarian?
I'm Japanese.
Sweet Paper
