Knife Doctor, you did a great job during the giveaway last night. It was very frustrating to see greed attempt to highjack your gracious giveaway. You do so much for others and your videos have ignited my desire to collect knives. My Dad always carried a good and sharp knife. He also taught to respect and take care of knives, as well as how to correctly use a knife. I have the knives he collected. I am extremely appreciative of all that you do. I look forward your daily videos.

Kevin, That Pepsi Knife had very little information but was able to find out it was an actual authentic limited made pocket knife for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. The did 2 prints.... one with just blue lettering and one with red and blue print which is a lot rarer due to few of those being made. Just cannot identify the maker but it's either Camilus, Winchester, Remington, or Case....just wanted to say that The Knife Doctor, Kevin, has the most informative UA-cam Channel about American Made knives and cutlery, and I love your videos, watching them and the fact you're a local guy!!! The giveaway was a great event and you were very calm and cool.The way you handled the shenanigans! It's a shame how some people acted in a free giveaway. I seen a lot of people picking multiple numbers. They simply wasn't listening to your instructions. When they overloaded the screen with numbers. It would cause it to make the earlier messages disappear. It only keeps a certain amount of messages and then they start deleting automatically. Oh well, it is what it is. You can't do anything anymore without people trying to cheat the system. It's sad that some resort to that level. 😕 Thanks for the opportunity to win a free gift. Nice finds! That lady leg Case is a cool one. That style handle will gas off and ruin the blade and other knives around it. It is good that you are rehandling it.
I was wondering why some of the knives looked like the handles were melted.
Nice knife haul! Can't wait to see you fix them up. I like the little Harbor Fright three-inch polishing mops on my drill press they work great on scales using Flitz polish.

What's up Doc. First time I was in the first 50 views! That trick knife is an Imperial because I literally got one yesterday at the local antique shop and the fellow showed me how it works. He really knows his knives. Been laughing because the other day when you fixed the LB7, I got one the day before and now again you are pulling out one! That's happened about 5 or more times now over the past few months, from the Leek knife to a bunch of other! Anyway, lots of fun yesterday at the giveaway. You are a goo man. That was a score. Crazy to think what some of these knives have seen over the years. I cant believe that boot shaped knife could possibly be 119 years old!

Sweet finds. I have an old Colonial "Scout" camp knife that has that same style can opener on it. The curved edge of it goes into the can. Thanks for sharing your Harbor Freight trip and the pawn shop trip. God Bless bud

Very cool finds in the pawn shop. You got some decent deals. I'm about to hit the Harbor Freight myself. I will be purchasing the 3 inch bench grinder and extra wheels. The upright belt sander and the extra belts. So, it's on like Donkey Kong! 😊

I liked the Russel Barlow,that was old and rare. You got a good lot of knives at that store. Harbor freight has some good prices and great selection on products. I have never been in that store and there is one up here in northern Indiana about twenty miles from me. Again thanks for taking us along and you take care. Blessings To you. Stay safe.😊

I don't know what I enjoy more the knife hunt videos or the repair videos, both are great. I wasn't able to attend the live giveaway but watched the recording to see what happened. Thanks for your videos Kevin!!! I’ve told you previously that have reignited my interest in knives and I have been expanding my collection one or two knives at a time. I’m getting to the age when my needs will take precedence and the family has been provided for. Only you know if you paid too much buddy :), but i think you got some nice things there. The two blade with the black jigged handles and no bolsters was beautiful, and you always find those TL-29's in great shape. I keep my eye out for one but haven't had any luck, the joy is in rhe hunt but at this point i think I'm going to give in and check ebay. All the best Sir

I believe, on what you gave for the lot, that case would bring over a 100$. From any collector 😮.

They’re also called puzzle knives.
I just put new scales on an Ideal camper. Nice knife.
Those are some nice old knifes doc i would not suggest those wooden tool boxes with the mirror from harbor freight I bought one and it started falling apart after a year

That is a nice looking frost knife make sure you look at it good I got one that says German stainless but it says Pakistan on the blade
Most of those Frost knives that mention German steel on them are assembled in either Pakistan or China. Some of the bone is nice, like that second-cut you got, but construction is rough sometimes
Yeah…not a big fan of Frost or Parker.
@@theknifedoctor I have some very nice Parkers I wouldn't trade for a Case or Schrade, but those are cherry picked from all the ones that got past quality control.

At the one pawnshop in my town they don't sell guns or knives they will buy them from you though.
I miss Denver sometimes. You could buy both if you didn't like them just go a block down the road. I used to buy CD's for $5

Most likely they were made by imperial. I have two of them that are marked imperial and three others that only have the patent number on them.
You should have got that Russell Barlow it was made in the twenties and made by camillus next time you go you need to get it they probably ain’t extremely rare but I haven’t seen a lot of them
Y’all are making me wish I had bought the Barlow. I may try to go back by there one day this week and see if it is still there.

I don’t keep them all. I give some away to friends and family and I also send some to random subscribers. I also held a charity auction on Whatnot in March and April with all proceeds going to Tunnels to Towers. The next charity auction will be held on May 7th if you are interested in buying some of them and all proceeds will be donated to the You are a Gift Foundation.
