So many gorgeous colors! Thank you for taking the time to swatch out the line, not to mention the cost of buying that dot card. I'm currently working on a HUGE dupe mixing project, and I see a few new combinations to try. Love your channel and the information you put out there. I'm sure many appreciate the heads up about the restock, too. Thank you! ♥

Thank you for this video! I wanted to watch the previous LIVE, but totally forgot! Beautiful paints but... I feel like dot cards are getting more and more expensive 😩 meaning I'm just getting old 😂 I remember when they first came out and a few companies only charged shipping lol now it's like "oh, here's a $40+ dot card...plus shipping" 😂🤦‍♀️ there are a few people who put up amazing videos and pictures of swatches. So between your videos and those blogs (I use Jane Blundell, mostly), I'm usually good at judging which colors I want to grab. I mainly look for special pigments at this point. I have too many (I know, never too many 😂) paints to get "normal" pigment colors. They have to be super special paints to justify what some companies are charging these days 🤯 don't get me started on these "small businesses" only restocking like 3x a year 😒 as a previous business owner (I had a store in town making custom wood furniture and home decor...for 25+ years - closed 2.5 years ago), I think I too much about sales tactics lol

I'm pretty sure they have the most beautiful yellows, oranges and reds I've ever seen. As an Italian (whose great grandparents came over here from Italy), I can definitely tell they are from Italy. Yellows, oranges and reds aren't my favorite, but all of their Y, O and R colors definitely look like earth tones, which ARE my favorite.

oh i didn't even know they gave dot cards for free back then. that's rather generous. but you're right, i have definitely seen an increase in prices even during the several years i've gotten back into watercolor.

I had an order started at Jacksons and was about to put it in when I saw your video was up, so I stopped to watch it.
    So glad I did.
I have 57 A. Gallo colors, but I saw the Periwinkle and I had to order it.
Pietra Rosa is one of my favorite A Gallo colors.
I can't say these are my favorite watercolor paints.
I find them sometimes streaky and grainy...but people seem to go crazy for them so maybe I'm missing something.
But the colors I do like I like a lot.
Hokkaido Orange is very interesting....that will probably be the next color I collect.
But they are very expensive over 11 dollars for a half pan...ouch!!
But like you orange isn't a very much used color and I have Arancione in my set already.
Thank you for the swatching it was easy to go to the end and pause and really look at the colors up close.

laaaaark! hi hi~ hope you're well! i'm glad the vid was posted just in time then ;D i've heard the streak and grainy comment from others as well. and ur right, hokkaido orange will be one i'll want to collect, some time in the far future though as it will purely be for collecting, not really using haha ;P

Such a fan of A Gallo and always up for watching the range get swatched. Thank you. I remember the explanation awhile ago for Rose Madder inclusion was to replace Dragon's Blood in the Naturale palette and thought Dragon's Blood was going away but i think people still are asking for it. (I grabbed a half pan, of course) Harbor Blue plays tricks on my eyes and sometimes seems like Lunar blue and sometimes seems like a Cobalt Turquoise Green ha. I love their earth tones and in love with Moroccan Yellow Ochre and Quin Chestnut and will miss it when its gone. I ordered the Naturale 3 last month and enjoying so watching this helps me from going back on the website to order more ha. My wallet thanks you.

I never realized how pretty Hokkaido Orange was until seeing it on your swatch sheet

i know what u mean with that harbor blue, it's a tricky one ;P i quite like their earth tones as well, but the names are a bit trippy. i know denise swatched out the full range and she has better close ups so i kinda delayed editing this video but i figured i'd just get it posted, done and dusted, since her swatching and mine are a bit different so people can see some of the masstones of these colours better.

Thanks for swatching! I like the Hokkaido Orange and the Harbor Blue. The Rose Madder genuine is very different from the W&N, less pink and more granulating.

ha i know that feeling! I try to build up a list and then buy in "bursts" with a new palette and colors. Its hard to do but now glad that there is a free shipping option with an amount of purchase depending on your location.

6:55 Ah, a hand painted Periwinkle. There was a time when someone said "hand painted Periwinkle" and everyone knew what you were talking about. Sigh.
