Leila, if I can give you some advice; I got my mortgage at 26 too - I am now 16 years on and have hardly anything left to pay - less than 5 years and I initially took a 30 year mortgage out. What reduced the term? Overpaying. I would really strongly suggest if you can between you overpay even £50-£70 extra a month, it’ll quickly reduce the term and the monthly payments moving forwards. You won’t believe how much of a difference it makes. ❤

I've never felt more poor than when the bank took the house deposit. It's such a large chunk of cash just gone haha - even though it's literally because you've bought a whole home haha.

Houses where I live in Zurich cost a minimum of 2 million 😭

Yeah, feel that...here in western Germany the market is crazy aswell atm🥲 for that property probably twice as much😅 but switzerland is even more insane, I'm sorry🥲 I think it's just more affordable because Wales is really green and not as many people live there or want to live there because it's just not that urban😊 sounds dreamy to me though🤩

Yeah 😅 hence the reason moving to wales was the right decision!! That way we have money to invest with in the future!!! But I’m very unaware of the housing situation in other countries, this is just the situ here!! London is wild though ahahah
