I have the same bike as you. Love the bike but should be an option to come with cruise control. I’m 71 and it doesn’t take long for hand to get tired. I don’t know what good aftermarket type cruise to get
@@Matthewsmith-2024 i think i got them, or something crazy similar at least! did you had to remove the whole weight from inside the bar or you just screw it in the end of the tip? that sounded weird huh? haha!
@@equalfps Ha! I just put them on my bar end weights since they give u stuff to adjust them to fit. As long as they're tightly bolted they should stay on no problem. I've had mine on for months without issue.
I saw a prior review where you talked about the exhaust. I'd love to know what your solution was. I've been more seriously window shopping these bikes with the announcement of the Plaza Edition. Been wanting a good option for exhaust and mirrors.
So far, I've kept the stock exhaust on. I kinda like how quiet it is when I leave for work in the morning. If/when I upgrade it, I'll definitely make a video with all the info.
Are you on the stock seat? I'm thinking of getting the same bike as my very first and I only sat on it at dealership. Felt great, but not sure if that'd translate if I actually rode the thing. Bike felt nice and low but again not sure if in real driving condition I'd regret not getting the taller factory seat. I'm six feet tall so shorter than you, if that stock seat and low seating position is working out for you long term it has to work out for me.
So far, the stock seat seems to be working out great for me. I could definitely see getting a more comfortable seat for longer rides, but it feels fine for the first 3 or 4 hours. After that, I started to get tired of it.
@@Matthewsmith-2024 Great ti hear that! Yeah wouldn’t imagine being on a saddle for that long myself, 3 hours more than what I’m looking for at least initially. Thanks for sharing and love the long form videos. Can’t wait to start my own journey. Best of luck and stay safe 👍
@@samita137I'm 6'1” and it's a tad uncomfortable for longer rides, but it's a WIP. It's the highway speeds that get me. My torso's longer so that chest wind blows. I still can't find the right tucking position yet. Tbh I've been looking at upgrading already to the new GSX-8R. Take a look at it! The Eliminator's my first bike, but I'm outgrowing it already for sure.
@@GhettoFabuloso thanks a bunch. I actually ended up with a 2023 Triumph Trident leftover that was deeply discounted, was only a few hundreds more than the eliminator I was eying so was kind of a no brainer. The legroom is definitely much larger which I would assume all these middleweight nakeds/sports would have. But the lack of a windscreen also makes highways not that pleasant. I’ve built better tolerance but it’s still not the best. Safe riding and best of luck 👍
I've done the Tail of the Dragon in a car many times, but I haven't tried it on a bike yet. The whole area is beautiful.

thanks for the video!

@@equalfps Awesome! I got those on Amazon. They're universal bar end mirrors. I think they were about $35
