I’d argue junglers and laners just have a different understanding of the game. They both understand things the other doesn’t in lower elos and it’s usually a bit of what is holding them back. Playing top made me a better jungler and I would say that knowing jungle prior gave me a huge advantage when learning top simply because of objective macro

Probably I missed something but Renekton's R is also an AA reset. So the combo with 50 fury + w + R with AA's between makes it insta oneshot things. Also, having AS (with BOTR f.e.) was kind of good in the old days.
You probably can but the reason you ult between the W is that you are locked into the W animation unless you ult, so you animation cancel the W with your ult and you can act faster, be it a Q or AA
Yeah I literally loaded up practice tool because of this comment I was like there is no way I've missed this in all my Renekton time...yeah its not a reset. The important thing it does is cancel out of W. Its REALLY good sure, but it does not reset his AA in any way.
Big tip from a renekton otp and huge fan of 3in1 warrior(one of the best renekton players ive seen). There is a oneshotbuild you can go on renekton into certain drafts with PTA. Looking at that third game it actually could have 1v9'd. But most importantly, if you're snowballing, you can do 3 points Q into W max. Maxing Q last. Mid to late it does basically no damage whereas lower CD on W can be huge. Also I highly suggest learning the Panther combo on renekton since it amplifies your damage by a lot. Other then that using empowered E vs tanks is a given. Either way very educational vid en groeten uit Brabant!😁

ksante being in the best champ category for high elo and wouldnt play in low elo isn't all about skill issue , right? Its not that hard to play the champ tbh but while playing him i noticed that its pretty hard to teamfight with him i most of the time dont even ult and instead just zone people and i agree its kinda bad to just zone people in low elo because teams wont really use the space well, im mostly a tank player so playing something like an ornn feels kinda better in my elo(low) since cc'ed targets are easier to capitalize on than space around zoning. Its still kinda funny to be able to 1v1 a fed darius while being 1-5 as a tank tho so ye im gonna be playing him
Yeah I kinda agree. Even if you play well, it’s all about your team. Imagine you ult their adc out of a Teamfight, then it’s a 4vs4, your team should have an advantage cause they still have an adc. But that only works on high Elo and pro play caus the teams knows how to play around their adc‘s. Most of the low elo fights, the mid jgl top are doing more dmg than the adc
empowered E vs ksante hard counters the champ. his damage scales with his armour, essentially making renektons empowered E twice as good vs ksante as a regular tank. doing empowered W vs any armour building champ is just a waste of fury, it doesnt do any dmg at all and make it so u cant use ur W to gain fury for another rage Q or rage E. empowered W is only a nuke vs squishies or vs tanks that have a big ass shield like sion or kench etc.
I always wondered why you never included Renekton in your best picks to climb out of low-MMR along with Garen, Mundo etc until now. Renekton always felt like a really good champion to learn fundamentals with. Generally has pretty good matchups, wave clear, 1v1 and team fight power, build diversity and more. Really nice to see the crocodile getting some space under the spotlight in your educational content!
Probably because Renekton is a lot less Autopilot than Garen and Mundo. He's still on the easy side, but requires more mechanical skill and knowledge because he has no infinite Regen that balances out basically all bad trades. Doesn't scale quite as well as Garen and Mundo either, he can feel pretty bad in Lategame because he dies extremely quickly when building offensive and is pretty useless when building more tanky.
Renekton isn't quite as good of a general pick for low elo because he suffers from falling off in the late game, and low elo players tend to struggle to close a match. Garen and Mundo both scale well into the late game, so that's not an issue for them.
Man ksante is one hell of a kind but i think that you should try to put the rage e more because of the resistance shred but i am not that good at the game and it is just a proposition
Climbed out of bronze for the first time last season (started around 2020) running Renekton and Wukong. The combo under turret is just disgusting and I can feel their screams through the screen. Warning: they will then do everything in their power to upset you, through the game or through chat
I feel like it should be customary to play against at least one game of mundo, darius and/or vayne in each of these. Mundo because scaling, Darius because he's hard to stat check, and then vayne because she's another giant headache to play into (as you always say her economy is capped because she has no aoe waveclear but like, she's still vayne). Also if Zac is also a S tier champ according to Alois, does that mean we'll be getting Zac top content soon?
why would you rush a black cleaver as a first item against a kled ... isn't like eclipse a better option in term of trading (max health which kled has a lot + gives u shields + cheaper spike )
Black cleaver is also really solid against high health since reducing armor reduces the effectiveness of health. Plus you get more total health yourself, and renekton can easily sustain so he makes good use of that early extra health.
Yeah I think cleaver is really good againts really tanky champs like Ornn, K' Sante or Malphite, but vs Kled is always Eclipse first it can be really powerfull in short trades and you can tank a towershot for free while using the Empowered W inside the enemy tower range. Againts Ambessa is crazy good too.
I swear the only reason the 1v1s vs ksante were close is because he for some reason always used empowered winstead of empowered e. I feel like with actually using the armor pen windows you just always nuke im insanely hard.

Ive done botrk against only mundo so far (makes the mu so easy, pop passive then all in on second empowered w, cuz 3 free autos) but yeah, botrk is a must against ANY tank that builds armour or hp first, just cuz how strong tenk items are rn.
@natetg4310 not both. Depends on what you wanna do, sidelane or team fight and opp team comp (mind you im fucking iron still) but if you wanna 1v1 tanks in side lane, you kinda need bortk, but eclipse is so much better in team fights. All i know, mundo 100% build botrk first
@@grassxtoucher eclipse is bad in every renekton build except full assassin pta lethality oneshot build. if you build eclipse, you are permanently 1 item behind the curve in mid game missing either cleaver or a defensive item when you need them most. the only way eclipse rush can make up for the loss is if you are able to get 5 plates, first tower, and tier 2 tower gold after snowballed solely and exclusively by the early spike eclipse offers compared to cleaver. in this case, the gold you spent on eclipse generates itself back from all the plates/towers it allowed you to get, essentially putting you back on parity with the gameplay curve in the same way that a fully stacked Cull does. most of the time, buying eclipse turns into a colplete waste of gold the moment you make a mistake and are either equal/behind which then the shield doesnt matter, the dmg doesnt matter, and you don't have anything useful in a teamfight because the eclipse isn't a cleaver or it isn't a steraks or it isnt a bork/hydra item etc. remember that eclipse and cleaver as a 1st then 2nd item buy lost like 1k gold value in the nerfs, but wwhat cleaver does is always more useful on renek than the limited usefulness of a eclipse. that said, bork is only definately the best rush item vs tanks that build HP items only for the first 2 items like mundo/skarner who buy both warmogs/heartsteel before armour items. the reason is that bork is countered by armour until you have cleaver as well. that is why bork rush is so op vs mundo because your bork will be fully effective for their 2 item core and doesnt fall off while you are still building your cleaver. for example, if you rush bork vs a tank who builds warmogs first, you will spike very hard on 1st item point, but afterwards they only need to spend 800 gold on chainvest to get enough armour to severely weak your bork dmg while you are having to spend the entirely of the 3k on cleaver until you have the shred which hten you spike again. essentially, vs double hp item tank builds bork -> cleaver build doesnt fall off while you are waiting to complete cleaver where it does vs armour building tanks. if you bork rush vs ksante, ornn, or another armour rushing tank you will not do dmg until u finish cleaver and are ikely to just traight up get killed by a tank with armour kind of like what happens in this video vs ksante (except he built cleaver which gives him cdr and hp and shred, you wont have any of that if u rush bork and his armour will reduce the dmg of ur bork passive by 50% or more). so yeah, its not good to rush bork vs armour tanks like it is vs hp tanks. mind you, in this video vs ksante he is misplaying by using empowered W on a tank instead of empowered E and that is why he is losing so hard. if he uses empowered E, it lowers ksantes dmg because his dmg scales with his defensive stats essentially making shred vs ksante worth twice as much as normal)
I always felt Renekton was a noob stomper but the more you learn the easier it is, at least in my case I find Renekton, Moderkaiser, Garen and to some extent Darius to be the hardest stuff I dealt with when I was new to the game, now I just know how those work, it has to be a good OTP to beat me, or I have to be playing an immobile tank to lose to a Darius

I do very much recommend you play K'sante for awhile. Once you get his mechanics down, you can 1v9 in some cases depending on draft pick. Must see!

@@grassxtoucher eclipse is bad in every renekton build except full assassin pta lethality oneshot build. if you build eclipse, you are permanently 1 item behind the curve in mid game missing either cleaver or a defensive item when you need them most. the only way eclipse rush can make up for the loss is if you are able to get 5 plates, first tower, and tier 2 tower gold after snowballed solely and exclusively by the early spike eclipse offers compared to cleaver. in this case, the gold you spent on eclipse generates itself back from all the plates/towers it allowed you to get, essentially putting you back on parity with the gameplay curve in the same way that a fully stacked Cull does. most of the time, buying eclipse turns into a colplete waste of gold the moment you make a mistake and are either equal/behind which then the shield doesnt matter, the dmg doesnt matter, and you don't have anything useful in a teamfight because the eclipse isn't a cleaver or it isn't a steraks or it isnt a bork/hydra item etc. remember that eclipse and cleaver as a 1st then 2nd item buy lost like 1k gold value in the nerfs, but wwhat cleaver does is always more useful on renek than the limited usefulness of a eclipse. that said, bork is only definately the best rush item vs tanks that build HP items only for the first 2 items like mundo/skarner who buy both warmogs/heartsteel before armour items. the reason is that bork is countered by armour until you have cleaver as well. that is why bork rush is so op vs mundo because your bork will be fully effective for their 2 item core and doesnt fall off while you are still building your cleaver. for example, if you rush bork vs a tank who builds warmogs first, you will spike very hard on 1st item point, but afterwards they only need to spend 800 gold on chainvest to get enough armour to severely weak your bork dmg while you are having to spend the entirely of the 3k on cleaver until you have the shred which hten you spike again. essentially, vs double hp item tank builds bork -> cleaver build doesnt fall off while you are waiting to complete cleaver where it does vs armour building tanks. if you bork rush vs ksante, ornn, or another armour rushing tank you will not do dmg until u finish cleaver and are ikely to just traight up get killed by a tank with armour kind of like what happens in this video vs ksante (except he built cleaver which gives him cdr and hp and shred, you wont have any of that if u rush bork and his armour will reduce the dmg of ur bork passive by 50% or more). so yeah, its not good to rush bork vs armour tanks like it is vs hp tanks. mind you, in this video vs ksante he is misplaying by using empowered W on a tank instead of empowered E and that is why he is losing so hard. if he uses empowered E, it lowers ksantes dmg because his dmg scales with his defensive stats essentially making shred vs ksante worth twice as much as normal)

You know, I literally can't remember the last time I lost lane to a renekton. Years for sure.
I always felt Renekton was a noob stomper but the more you learn the easier it is, at least in my case I find Renekton, Moderkaiser, Garen and to some extent Darius to be the hardest stuff I dealt with when I was new to the game, now I just know how those work, it has to be a good OTP to beat me, or I have to be playing an immobile tank to lose to a Darius
