Good to see and hear you again friend. Nice horn and playing. Thanks for inviting us into your "home." Love the old hymns. Comforting. My oldest son 46, passed away earlier this month (drug overdose.) So I take my comfort anywhere I can find it.

Oh, Guy; I am soooo sorry to hear this!! I missed your comment, and just found it. I'm so sorry to hear this, but I'll do what I can to lift you up in prayer. May the merciful peace of God fill your heart and mind; in Jesus name...

Awesome trumpet. Bell works for all styles and has that extra core sound found on the old MTV horns which this model was designed around. I love mine. Bell is a unique size between 37 and 43.

AJ, I think Bach pulled the Artisan too quickly. Very nice horns, in my opinion. Thanks for commenting! :)

I really like these, especially the C version. They make it easy to find a "good' Bach. My 43 has now got brass valve stems. It has become even more focused.

Another great review! In the fall of 2017, I took a tour of the Bach factory with my Mother and tried out some C trumpets for church playing. I didn't want the Artisan C because, well, it was very expensive, and it was a top-of-the-line pro c trumpet that would be of better use in a top pro-orchestra, I was looking for something not so expensive, like a plain Bach 239 C. It actually came down to the Bach Philly C, and the Artisan C, and both my Mother and the high brass category manager thought the Artisan C had a prettier sound. Ironic, isn't it? I wasn't looking to get the Bach Artisan C, and I ended up getting it, it's SUCH a great C trumpet! It sounds so pretty in church! I switch between a Bach 3C and a Bach 3B depending on the hymn.

Great story! :) I've only played one C trumpet, and I've never had the privilege of visiting a factory to find a horn. I can imagine it to be very enjoyable though. Thanks for commenting!

Reeves 9A nice clarity ….always good to see you playin’ a horn. I like Bach as well 🎺 ( you might consider getting yourself a custom made Trent Austin non-metal MP they don’t require a warmed up. I have a wedge MP acrylic type that I reach for when it’s cool… side note I seem to articulate better with a more stickier no slick MP add to that the response is a tad be faster. Hope too see you soon.

I like all my Reeves mouthpieces, I think. They're all a bit different, but nicely made. Yes, I'd like to get a delrin or acrylic piece some time, time will tell. :) Thanks for commenting! :)

That horn is overpriced. I love Bach’s but that price is nuts. The Getzen 900DLX is built the same with the bronze and nickel valve block ,but Getzen has a nickel lead pipe

      Agreed; it's a high price.

@@JonathanMilam1 I’ll ever buy a new horn again . I love my Selmer Bundy I found . Clean silver coronet . Selling my Bach Anniversary. I feel bad having that much money tied up in a horn

@@paulgrimm I understand completely. I’ve got several horns for sale. I definitely need to downsize. I don’t buy new… It hurts too much. :)
