amazing vhs collection, I love my vinyl LPs, vhs tapes, dvd, blu ray, and music and video games collection. I will be making my first day of youtube videos and loving it.
Wow, good memories of my sister and I watching the Land of the Lost together. I had the toys too. I'm going to have to get myself a copy on ebay or something.
OMG Bob & Margaret! I used to love that. I only have a few VHS' left. My Mum threw loads away when we moved which I didn't know about. Now I have a few in my closet and few on top of my VHS player which I still have under my TV. I might do a video on mine just because I haven't looked in my closet for ages and don't know what I still have lol. I hate throwing things away! Your VHS' are all in really good condition!
Heh. You're like me. Whenever I go to a thrift store or flea market, I always look for vhs tapes of tv shows, especially cartoons. My best find so far is a tape with one random episode of the Where's Waldo cartoon. Now I can prove that show existed, at least, since it seems to have been forgotten.
i have a load of vhs tapes... i know almost everyone forgot about vhs but i love em... i have several dvd's though which i play on my ps3... but mostly i just buy more vhs tapes... like whenever i go to a garage sale or thrift store lol :P and whenever i wanna watch a new movie i rarely ever buy the dvd... i just go to the theatres or watch it online (lol hooray for bootleg) i dont have many dvd's though :/
Tiny Toons HISMV had that taped twice I can remember, loved it to death, wow you also had Animaniacs? Always loved that show, such an inspiration, I really do like your collections here, really amusing dude
my mom sold a few of my favorite toys to a neighbor kid when i was a child. That really sucked, 'cause I would see them out in their yard playing with them...good memories.
You have romper room?! I've been hunting vhs for those for ever. Is there a way you could show some of the recording? Which year is it from? Thanks and your collections awesome!!!
The Fright Fest nickelodeon vhs was awesome. The doug, ren & stimpy and rugrats cartoons that they included on it were so good. I remember the doug episode to be my favorite.
omg you have "And You Thought Your Parents are Weird" I have that also on vhs, i also have The Willies (have to get on dvd yet), and Collision Course on VHS starring Jay Leno and Pat Morita, and another fav as a kid that i have on dvd is The Dirt Bike Kid. Love the vids, it's cool to see what dvds and videos other people have. I dont have anywhere near as many as you though.
the good thing amazon is that they sell probably all these vs's and some these that i don't like i'm tryin to get.....i know i live in the past...but i would like to get some of these thanks for posting this!!!
Here's a suggestion: you should do a list of all the VHS movies that you can't believe AREN'T on DVD (preferably 80s and 80s horror). Most of my favorite 80s films and films I'm interested in have yet to find a DVD release (I even started working at a film distribution company to try to get a few out there), and I'm always interested in finding obscure flicks that aren't widely available...it's like discovering treasure...
Bon Voyage Carlie Brown is a great movie! Hopefully it comes out to DVD soon. Race for Your Life Charlie Brown isn't out on DVD yet either. The other two are
ghost writer! i loved that show man, but the purple blob freaked me out. anyways i just thought id let you know about my absolute favorite vhs The Phantom Tollbooth.....FIND IT! i swear it is a fantastic chuck jones film
My Older Brother is into some classic shows and films. When you talk about the 90's "Land of the Lost" series, he'd say he likes the 70's version better, for it's campiness and interesting storyline.
@residentvania I hate to break it to you, but "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown" is still not on DVD yet. The same thing goes for "Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown." Hopefully, those two "Peanuts" films will come out on DVD one of these days so that they can join up on the shelf with "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and "Snoopy, Come Home."
one day i went to the dumpster and there were five trash bags full of vhs tapes. mostly all recorded off tv. old stuff like in search of with mr. spock.
@Vendettare1. Those films are nothing but classics! You don't have to be three to like them. Some stuff stays with you. I still watch that, "Arthur," "The Berenstain Bears," etc. Aside from being children shows, they're good, well made programs.
I still buy vhs's because some stuff is not even on dvd. Yea, I can probably download it, but that doesn't cut it for me. There's nothing like having a killer collection of vhs's and dvd's. VHS and DVD for the win!!!
Yeah i like that sound also, You have a great collection of film in general coolduder. I just received a pretty cool big box vhs in the mail called Devils Playground...its a crazy horror porn from Greece.
This guy talked about his VHS collection before it was cool
