(2:45) I mentioned this in the comments yesterday, but basically, I pulled Tyvar, the Pummeler as one of my mythics, and he was an MVP, helping me win my matches. I went 2-0 and 2-0. (Yeah, there were only two other people there besides me, so going undefeated isn't quite as amazing as it might first sound.) (2:49) One awesome combo was Haunted Screen with Tyvar. After turning my Haunted Screen into a 7/7 creature, Tyvar was able to give my entire army a +7/+7 buff, which kinda spelled doom for the opponent. (3:17) One of my opponents played a Twitching Doll, which could've been potentially dangerous if left unchecked, but I happened to have timely removal for it. Nailed it with Seized from Slumber after he tapped it for mana, so there was no chance for it to make an army of Spider tokens. (3:35) Nice, a foil version of the other mythic I got-- Funeral Room // Awakening Hall! (4:09) I cast Derelict Attic mainly for the card draw, and a person watching my game thought it might've been a desperation play. Well, it wasn't, really. I just didn't have any other decent plays on turn 3, so it fit my curve nicely at the time. (4:42) Neat, a Verge, one of this set's new dual lands. I got a borderless version of the Gloomlake Verge myself, which taps for blue, but can also tap for black if I control an Island or a Swamp. (5:35, 6:33) Woof, woof! 🐕🐕 (6:25) There's Broodspinner, which I turned into five 1/1 Insects in one match, just in time for Tyvar to power them all up to close out one of my games. (7:55) My promo was Leyline of Mutation. (9:09) I think I prefer Bloomburrow's theme better, but I can't deny the fun I had with my matches last night. (9:54) There was one game I played where my opponent opened with Orphans of the Wheat on turn 2, and I had that same card in my hand, so I played it on my turn 2 to match his play just for hahas. (12:22) I just checked Scryfall, and there are 14 cards that start with "Fear" in this set. Aw, you didn't pull a Haunted Screen in this episode. I remember how I was hoping for one myself, and I got it as the very last uncommon in my 6th pack. So glad it appeared for me, especially since it worked really well with Tyvar.
I got your chaos pack thing that was not plainswalker themed and in the LOTR one i got ringwraiths, glamdring, foil fangorn tree shepherd, a foil plains and a listed card called metathran elite. Nice thing to have during hurricane cleanup
