I am secure 12735 gmr rank in wbjee but got Fail in math secured 38 marks what shoud I do please help sir ?
My GMR rank for wbjee 2024 is 5179 should I participate in mop up round for Kalyani and Jalpaiguri CSE, ECE ?
Direct mop up
If I get deptt X in R1 and upgrade to deptt Y in R2 but don't take admission in Y in R2, then my Y in R2 will be cancelled. In the circumstances, I then move to Mop-up, what will be the probabilities: 1) that I will get deptt Y back in Mop-up round? 2) that I will get a higher deptt in order of my choice as per previous year cutoff? 3) that I will get a lower deptt in order of my choice as per previous year cutoff? Can anybody suggest please?
any of the three can happen. it's a gamble to be honest.
Mop up have no connection with r2, it's a clear selection so any of 3 may possible but if you don't take seat in r2 your y seat not be reserved, but in mop up if you get again y than it's only a coincidence
It all depends upon your rank...if you have good rank

@@ankitbhowmick3430 yes. you have to go for physical verification, but before that you need to pay seat acceptance fee. if you have paid fees, and have done physical verification, then your seat will stay, unless you get a new seat in round 2

Suppose I got a college in Round 2 seat allotment.
Do the verification but do not take admission.
And register for mop-up round, but didn't get any college.
Will I be able to get back to the college of round 2 allotment and take admission??
No you can't reserve your previous allotment if you participate in mop up round. Check FAQs of WBJEE 2023 counseling

if you take admission after round 1 or 2, then you cannot participate in mop up. otherwise, you can participate in both

@@soumyajitguha4231 heritage IT you might get in 2nd round. CSE also you might get. for gcect, it is a bit tough. but I will say, if you get Heritage, go for it.

@@soumyajitguha4231 you can try, but mop up is a gamble. you might get a worse college than Heritage. this year they changed the rules, which is why this has become very confusing.

claim his/her earlier seat back." So isme likha hai agar new seat allot hua tab cancel hoga aur nahi hua to sayad nahi hoga
