I recommend you drenching yourself in aloe Vera gel after a shower. You’ll be able to go back into the sun without hurting so much
Wear sunscreen all the time everyday because tan skin and sunburned skin is damaged skin! You will regret it later in life!! The suns UVA and UVB destroys collagen and elastin and is the main cause of aging 😮
Be careful with Mellow out in that heat. Too much sun can cause them heat exhaustion. Canes is super delicious. A family favorite.

Your dogs aren't at a beach. And yes I heard her say they brought no sun protection for their dog but luckily he fit under a chair. So he had a tiny area of shade with no free flowing air.

But then again you've never been to Isle of palms I grew up there I went there almost every day of every summer as a kid considering I live out here and believe it or not there is always a slight breeze on the beach

The closest Raising canes for me is an hour and a half. Is it worth the drive? lol
If it’s an easy drive I would say yes! If it’s a busy highway (to get to one we’d have to take a really busy highway that usually has accidents) then I would say no lol

Like some people are saying, be careful with mellow dogs with pushed in faces are somewhat breathing compromised and don’t cool off as quickly as other dogs so please be extremely careful
