That’s not really how it works tbh otherwise we can do several interest transactions and then just pay the penalty. You have the mortgage now, make an intention to not engage in any new riba transactions, pay excess off as soon as possible even if there’s a penalty.
@@CertifiedTalks like in a regular saving account i had put in a certain amount of money into it and the bank overtime added money into my account im not sure if its interest or not it wasnt a contract or anything

You'll have to give more information. Are they giving you the money for free? Is there a contract where they give you a fixed amount? Etc

Savings account differ from non savings account because they pay interest
