Just a reply on the wool comments❤😂: I know that sheep aren’t killed for wool haha. But most of these products are bit just the wool. If you look underneath it comes with the skin as well. So I should have said sheepskin, but when you see equestrian products with wool, 95% comes with the skin sadly..

Matt is such a king for keeping Chase and putting his well being first! He could have easily sold him when Chase wasn't able to match his needs as a dressage horse anymore.
Ikr! I admire that so much! If a person can't afford (financially and emotionally) to keep a horse through their retirement and old age, that means they can't afford to have them at all. The selling off of older and injured or sick horses is cruelty. It doesn't take much to imagine what a horrific experience that is for the horse. They're supposed to be our best friend, not an object. When we acquire an animal of any kind, it has to be a commitment to them for their lifetime, which includes caring for them through illnesses, injuries, and old age. If we don't love then enough to do that, then it would be better for us to buy a go-cart or a four wheeler, etc. They're not inanimate objects. They have thoughts and feelings, hopes, fears, and souls. When we took them from the wild we became responsible for their welfare, so we can't just throw them away when they're no longer a useful show animal.
@@cattymajiv My parents bought me a horse when I was 14. I took over paying for all his needs at 18. How to make your requests very clear to them, to reward them for finding the right answer, and how to deal with a small delay if they don't instantly find the right answer the very first time. Those are all so important, and you did it perfectly, in logical sequence, and very complete, yet also as simply as possible. Teaching is both an art and a science. Everyone thinks it's so easy, until they try it themselves. And until they are faced with measuring in some way whether the students actually learned the information! You are so right! Because not all bitless bridles are kind! Some of the hackamores are very cruel, and dangerous in the hands of a novice or a heavy handed rider. Like Jesse, I dislike the cross under kind too. I think it's a really poor design, and unnecessarily complicated. The 2 best I've seen are Jesse's Nalanta, and the bitless from Shae at Free Spirit Equestrian. It doesn't have a brand name, but can be found on her channel or website. There are similarities between them, but Shae's models don't have the metal star. They both have padded bands and the anatomical headband or poll strap, and attractive brow bands.
Wait . . . Jesse is TWENTY-EIGHT??? I thought he was like twenty, tops! That just goes to show what good genes and chronically damp weather can do for a person. :)
Hey, you may look young now, but as a 75 year old that people think is 60 has it's advantages. Do remember sun screen everyday, rain or shine. Thanks for the update on Antarres. Please keep them coming. Any video you do is gold.
Jesse you should add sunscreen to your year-round daily routine as well, it will help prevent sun damage that you'll see later in life. 😎💖 I love seeing you ride Chase; I think he really loves having you spend time with him.
Thank you for mentioning this Chasingfences. I love your name! LOL! Sun protection is SO important in prevention of skin cancer, for both riders and horses. They've gotten really good at curing a lot of cancer, but prevention is a million times more effective, and is SO much easier! Sunscreen, and masks for horses are SO easy and SO effective! We owe it to ourselves and our much loved friends to use protection. ❤
@@cattymajiv All true, I wish I was better at using sunscreen earlier in life as I now need pre-cancerous spots 'frozen' which is a bit painful and take weeks to heal. I'm now careful to use sunscreen on my face year-round.
@@chasingfences1302 Yes, I agree. I changed my post, because the anticancer aspect is by FAR more important. I also wanted to reply to you and tell you that you're right. And to say that I really hope your treatment is successful, and that there are no recurrences. If it's caught early, most skin cancers are highly treatable, and I really hope yours is like that. My dad's skin cancer recurred after being removed, but they said that removing it again would cause him a lot of grief, because by then he had Alzhiemer's. They said it was slow growing, and at his age that would not be what kills him anyway. They were right. He also previously had prostate cancer, and it was removed in time as well. It remains to be seen if my sister's breast cancer treatment will be successful but we have high hopes, since treatments are becoming more and more successful over time, and hers was caught early too. The Canadian system ensures most of us do get regular pap smears and mammograms, self exams of our breasts, and prostate checks. They are uncomfortable, but they're SO important! Most of the time, when caught early many cancers are totally curable. And horse owners need to be just as proactive on their horses' behalf, using masks and sunscreen, especially for white and grey horses, and those with white spots, blazes, etc. Thanks so much Chasingfences, for the important reminder about this! ❤❤❤
Yes Jesse we sure don't want you to have to deal with spots that have to be removed. You are blond and fair skin colored you could be prone to spots like the gray horses.
Sun screen is a marketing hoax! We should not use it, and it is in heaps of cosmetics without being stated. We don't know what is in it. I had a lip balm that sent my lips literally buzzing. Quite put me off sunscreens forever.
Hi Jesse, it's great to see and hear from you. I'm sad that Antares has had to receive treatment again, but when it's necessary, we don't hesitate! He seems to be doing very well, give him lots of kisses!🥰 Please, can you give us an update in a few days? 🙏Gaio is OK, that's good!👍 Your idea of a video with Chase is excellent for him and for us, as we don't see him very often any more. Aw! My mare had electrochemotherapy for a melanoma on her tail almost two years ago. It is amazing technology. She is black, so it was a very dangerous type of melanoma on her and they were highly concerned about it and were even talking about a potential tail amputation - but after one treatment the little bit that was not able to removed fell off and died and it has yet to come back
Jesse I would like thank you for an excellent tutorial. You really so kind and caring when you ride and explain to us exactly what you are doing. Brilliant vlog!
Actually there are a LOT of equestrian UA-camrs and IG posters who are 100% dedicated to kindness as their founding principal. Jesse is probably the best, and possibly the most well known, but he FAR from being alone. There are millions of us who are like him, or are trying to be like him! There are some very well known old guys, who are old school but pretend to be kindness based, but when the chips are down they show their true colors. These guys sell books and videos, and are heavily business oriented, which is how they got famous. But they are very much being ignored by the modern audience, as people realize that they are only pretenders. I'm not saying all old guys are no good, just that anyone who bases a business on horses should be taken with a grain of salt, because some of them are just posers. Their methods should be examined very closely. Jesse's methods always pass any test with flying colors! So I'm doubling down on the idea that he is 1 of the best, or maybe even the best.

There are similarities between them, but Shae's models don't have the metal star. They both have padded bands and the anatomical headband or poll strap, and attractive brow bands.
Chase has a wonderful, rhymical gait. He is not ready for retirement. He loved that lesson with you.
He's a wonderful demonstration horse, Matt and Jesse let Chase enjoy his rides because he is included in the conversation.
Chase reminds me of a horse I learned to ride on, he seems to have a pleasant personality but still a challenge to ride. I can see why they keep him
Chase is a working model like his Dad 😊😅. And they have said he is in light work with one of their employees who rides him regularly.
Wait . . . Jesse is TWENTY-EIGHT??? I thought he was like twenty, tops! That just goes to show what good genes and chronically damp weather can do for a person. :)
LOL! Finally something good about damp weather. And here I spent my whole 63 years hating it! 😉
Hey, you may look young now, but as a 75 year old that people think is 60 has it's advantages. Do remember sun screen everyday, rain or shine. Thanks for the update on Antarres. Please keep them coming. Any video you do is gold.
Chase...so beautiful. And so responsive. Love your tutorials! Great video, Jesse!
Yes! Me too! His tutorials are SO valuable!
Chase is such a sweetie . I’m glad he still is getting the attention which you can tell he likes!
Hi Jesse, it's great to see and hear from you. I'm sad that Antares has had to receive treatment again, but when it's necessary, we don't hesitate! He seems to be doing very well, give him lots of kisses!🥰 Please, can you give us an update in a few days? 🙏Gaio is OK, that's good!👍
Your idea of a video with Chase is excellent for him and for us, as we don't see him very often any more. I enjoyed listening to your interesting explanations, it's great to have fun but it's also great to learn. You're an excellent teacher, you're precise, your speech is fluid and you ride with such ease! 👏💯
A quality video Jesse! Thank you so much!💖
Yes to every word! ❤
Yes to every word! ❤
@@cattymajiv Thank you 💗
❤ Well said! ❤ Thank you Jesse! ❤
I would love to transition to bitless riding. This tutorial might just be the push I needed. Thanks Jesse!
Very interesting to see a more educational video from you! You are a great speaker on this topic
He really is!
Jesse I really enjoy your training videos great resource ❤
I agree your attitude and horsemanship, is in a class of its own. It’s very kind and natural , which I’m trying to do a lot of with my horse. Trying to get off my hands, which is habit I had from when I was younger. I’m a new fan and am keen to watch everything u do
Thank you Sweet One. Wonderful to see you riding Chase and bitless.
Chacey was listening to your instructions so intently. He really enjoyed trying something new.
Chase looks great. Great teacher and so kind.
Jesse I adore your smile. It brightens my heart!!
You always have fun when you ride, love it 🤎
You are very kind. I like the bit-less training.
Chase is such a beautiful horse, love seeing him in videos
Lovely, Chase seemed to be enjoying working with you and working without a bit!
Always good to see you Jesse. Thanks for sharing your life with us. You're doing great. Be safe. Stay well.
I love your manner your patience your tone of voice so kind. Loving well done Jessie
Always love seeing your videos ❤
I go onto UA-cam every evening and when I see a video from Jesse or Matt that takes preference over anything else I watch. I love it when you post your videos. Keep up the fantastic work you do ❤
Chase is a beautiful horse Jesse and it’s lovely to see you riding him, and it’s good to hear that Antares is doing well too, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧
Thank you so much for a great video with Chase I’ve been missing him! And the doggies too - bonus! I like videos where you teach about natural horsemanship, ride, do tricks, do your shows, and the ones where you have fun outside with the horses showing their interactions with each other. All of it is great content from a dear soul. Thank you.🙏🏼
A really good instructional video, thanks Jesse ❤
Thank you for the tutorial on bitless riding Jesse! I think Chase is beautiful ❤
Jesse, you are just wonderful. Your love of horses, your gentle and caring manner, how fortunate for the horses you train. Thank you for your excellent and informative lesson.
Love the way you two have different directions in riding but are able to share and respect the differences.... having the horses well being at heart holds it together
I loved this video. You teach us in a way that is so easy to understand.
I love watching you do anything with the horses. You are so kind and loving. ❤
I love that bareback pad, it looks really comfortable. I also appreciate the explanation of the bitless bridle. I thought the bitless bridle was more like a halter with reins! Thanks Jesse.
Yay! It's Chasie!! I love him. Great video working Chase bitless and the instruction. Thanks! ❤
Learn so much from Matt and Jesse... Thank you guys so much for sharing.
Such a treat to hear you teach, Jesse. He is quite bouncy! He looks great!
Yea! So happy to see this video. You and Chase look great together. He’s such a beautiful boy. Love you guys!❤
Love your videos. They make me feel calm and content. Your expertise with your horses is very much appreciated. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful day.
That looked like such a lovely ride! Chase seemed to really enjoy it ❤
Thank you! I have been wondering how to get a horse “on the bit” without a bit! I understand better now.
Thank you so much Jesse! I love the bitless bridal. I watch all your Videos!
Aw! My mare had electrochemotherapy for a melanoma on her tail almost two years ago. It is amazing technology. She is black, so it was a very dangerous type of melanoma on her and they were highly concerned about it and were even talking about a potential tail amputation - but after one treatment the little bit that was not able to removed fell off and died and it has yet to come back
I love to see Chase being ridden and worked and spoiled, he is a great horse and far too young to only be in the field.
Love that Chase gets to have some fun time to work again.
Loved this! I think chase really enjoyed it 😊❤
Jesse I would like thank you for an excellent tutorial. You really so kind and caring when you ride and explain to us exactly what you are doing. Brilliant vlog!
We have missed you love you’re videos ❤❤
Love your videos Jesse❤
Love your mindset of caring deeply that your horse is having fun. Warms my ❤
heyyyy love your videoss
@@cattymajiv yeah i agree with you! there are tons more. but he stands out. i also in a way meant a section famous riders(didnt want to hurt any feelings so i didnt keep it lol) but many top riders with millions of gear on their horses couldnt top jesse, he has that spesific training and trust with his that alot of people lack .
Nice seeing another video from you. I am so glad you are staying on top of the growths on Antares. I hope to see him healthy and able to get back to work with you soon. I loved watching your caring and informative ride with Chase and the bitless bridle. Great to see you with the dogs, but watch out for that jacket & shoe "person" hiding! You always put a smile on my face.😊
Great job on the vid and sponsorship. I liked the format.
This was mesmerising to me! So well explained and sweet.
Thanks Jesse, really liked this video and your positive attitude to training the horses. 😊
Chasey has the most luxurious tail 🧡
Love watching your videos. I remember when you did several rides on Andres when you just talked us through what you were doing. You are the best! Love this video! 😊
I really like watching you riding Chase....he tries so hard for you! This video really helps me as I am starting to do bitless with my boy. Thank you! I want to say that I love the bareback saddle you designed as well as the bitless bridle. The shipping to the US is sooo expensive now so I am using what I could get. I am staying positive that what I have will work.
Chase is such a handsome boy and looks so sweet to ride. You are so talented too Jesse 😊
Thank you Jesse, you're a wonderful teacher. Chase looks great!
Hi Jesse, thank you so much for sharing, Loved it all. Chase is zo sweet and Beautiful ❤
Chase is King and Andora is Queen of your stable. ❤❤❤ His movement is as beautiful as he is. More Chase videos, please 😊
Both of you looked so good together! Chase looked so content and listening to you Jesse. For a horse not really in regular training and not really used to bitless he did amazing! Very interesting explanations as well. I hope we see you on Chase again!
So wonderful that you promote bitless riding. Always has been my favorite. Your bitless bridle is the best made
On your next stable talk please remind us how many horses you two have. I love hearing about them & I'm rather new in following. Love you both!!
I really want that stirrupless saddle thing you have
It's a bareback pad. I love it too! ❤
Thank you!! Its on my website❤
He is so beautiful!! I love the idea of bitless.
Ah just loved seeing Chase again, we need more. Looked like he enjoyed his stretch 😊
Hey Jesse,it's nice to see you and Chase riding together lately 👍.
Honestly I thought he was sick and was living his best life out with you 2🫢.
He is so gorgeous and gentle 😊.
He had a little magic going on for a min 😊.
JO JO IN VT 🇺🇲💞
Awe I love seeing Chase❤
That saddle pad looks extremely comfy for the both the rider and the horse.
I like it so much how calm Jesse with his hands are.
Sweet Chase ❤
love your videos ❤❤❤❤
I ❤ the natural feeling of being able to feel my horse moving underneath me. Going bitless would take me to another wonderful level. 😊
When I was about 10, I rode my stocky, round as a butter ball type figure on him 😅 and I rode him bareback with a bosal pretty much always. Now, that's the way to learn to ride. It served me well in on any horse or pony that I rode. I highly recommend it for anyone just starting or with years of experience. 😊
