sammyboy13ify I think in the future Max scams Peggy and much later he also scams the Arches off of Ben. It is a shame. They were good on screen together.
sammyboy13ify Another thing is Phil was a decent ally for Max to have. He used to offer him help with Sean and Jack as well. And these two and Ian Beale United against Carl White. Stupid idea to have Max an outcast the way he is.
Agreed. I am also so fed up of Phil's constant feuding with other alpha male characters and Phil always winning. Phil's too old to be starting full-on wars with other characters on the show. Yeah Max scamming Ben out of The Arches was utterly pathetic considering it was revealed that Nick caused Max's then girlfriend Emma's death and not Phil. My guess is that Phil and Max will be allies again at some point cos there's nothing left for them to fight about besides the Car Lot which Phil doesn't really care about anyway. EastEnders needs younger villains like what Stuart is becoming instead of old 'hasbeen' thugs like Phil constantly winning feuds. Saying this though, Aidan could've been a fantastic, old school gangster but yet again the stupid writers turn the character into a complete joke and a nuisance which completely wasted an incredible actor like Patrick Bergin. They almost got it right with Vincent too but ofc the writers stupidly decide to write him out which is ridiculous cos Richard Blackwood was a great actor playing a great and complex character i.e. a villain who never really wanted to be a villain but was "too involved in the criminal underworld to escape his criminal antics" however deep down was a kind, family man who wanted to live a normal life. The writers won't listen though and will insist on Phil being 'top dog gangster' of EastEnders which will further infuriate us viewers; except for the stabbing and paedophile hunting storyline the whole show is a dire mess and has been since the 30th Live Anniversary Week.
Ben needs to return aswell. Harry Reid was getting a lot better acting-wise and was finally starting to grow into the character after a 'hammy' 1.5 year start (understandable considering Harry supposedly only really had experience in stage acting and had only just left education). Reid was incredible during the Paul Coker murder storyline an his on and off screen bromance with Jay and Jamie Bothwrick was so great to watch. Oh nope though the stupid producers never gave him his chance to shine even more did they? Instead they wrote him out with a ridiculous exit that made no sense to anything nor had any relevance to anything other than causing a group of men and women to threaten, argue, shout and attack one another aswell as go grave digging lol.
I agree there's little point in them feuding and as neither are going anywhere they'd be better off making a team of them. I can't see it happening though. Not with how Phil set Max up for prison the way he did. As for Phil, they did right by having him 'retire' from the dodgy stuff. They should have spent time investing in the Mitchell family years ago, establishing some relatives who Phil could build up to be his muscle as he got older. Phil could believably still have pull if he had some others to pull off the dirty work and he is the brains behind it. They could have thrown a few of Phil's old mates kids who were in their early 20's. Anything better than Old Man Mitchell and his amazing pettiness.
Jim looked like Yoda
😂😂😂
Always found it funny that Max mentions moving into No.5 to Phil and he doesn't mention that he also lived there and was shot 😂
2:07 Waterfall by stone roses playing in the background.
Amazing song
@@dylanmurphy4342 agreed.
Max had hair lol
Phil and Max were actually friends to start with😂😂
Although things changed years later😂😂😂
It changed after the whole Lucy thing
Max was young back in 2006
Ayhan Hergunerler it was 12 years ago. I think the actor was probably around mid 30s then.
He was about 37
@@brocksimmons345 i think in this hes 34
@@lukestewart8322 The actor maybe. The character Max would've been 36-37
@@maxbranningfan6324 the actor is 50 now
Feels weird, seeing Max drink a pint, as he usually drinks a whiskey or a scotch.
And now both are sworn enemies. What happened to Max and Phil's friendship? It was decent viewing!
