- This video shows some of the process of harvesting corn from the field and unloading it from the combine into grain wagons.
We use a drone to capture some videos and an iPhone for others.
This process involves approximately 3 acres of corn harvested an hour using the Case International 1620 Combine with a 4 Row Corn Head.

It's amazing how some farmers make a living farming a few quarters of land while others think they need to farm the entire county to make a living. Sure tells you who the most efficient farmers are.....farming and the way of life is being destroyed by BIG Ag. On another note, the early International and Case IH Axial Flow combines were and are the most simple, easy to repair and adjust machines on the market. I had an International 1420 back in the day. Great video!!
Thank you 🙏 we’re going to aim to get through another harvest starting in about 3 weeks. Combine will need a few tweaks before we start and parts are getting harder to find unfortunately.

This year I had my first harvest with a 1420. Glad to read here those are reliable machines.
What size do your rear tires have?

Thanks so much from Canada. I believe the tires are 14.9-24. We hope to wrap up this season’s soybeans in a week or so. Having to bounce between jobs and the rain that comes every other day. Then we will change over to the corn crop. Bit of snow in forecast this coming week which is typical this time of year. Hope your harvest is going smoothly for you 🙏

This year we grew 100 acres of corn and 60 acres of beans, along with 35 acres of barley and recently planted those 35 harvested acres in winter rye which will be baled next May for feed.
What size rows is that head?
It does 4 rows at a time and the rows are 30” apart
