This claypot rice. Was it previously at Clementi? I recalled having this similar style maybe 30 years or more ago at some coffee shop across clementi central.
Hokkien Mee should be eating by mixing the yellow noodles & bee hoon. the dish that should be eaten with only yellow noodles is lor mee & mee rebus - well, that's my preference la
I was about to say previously in food king, ryan didn't give a very good review on this prawn noodle. But i have to say they improved and last time no claypot. But it is also way more expensive now as compare to last time.
Agree, food cost has gone up but a bowl of prawn noodle costing about $20 is ridiculous! Also, you will feel damn thirsty after consuming the broth. Suspect huge amount of MSG!
Nah no way, Michelin is definitely not worth it. I live in a residential area a little bit outside downtown KL and there’s a Japanese restaurant here that received a star. The place was relatively overpriced anyway but the moment they received the star , the prices rose. Not cool.
@brandonteh9179 0 seconds ago ben said it right. its pea-neng....and it's pronounce as pea-nus. not pea-nis. NONE of the penang asam laksa sold in singapore including jason penang cuisine is the same as the asam laksa sold in penang. the noodles used is already different. not saying die die must be the asam laksa sold in penang only is nice but just saying it's not the same as those sold in penang

Food cost had since went up a lot! Sadly that’s the reality

No pins in jurong west / boon lay 😭
Should be pronounced as Zhup Zhup (as in Zhup Lap bankrupt or zhup as in gravy!) and not Zhoop Zhoop... 😅
Still prefer Xin Xin claypot at Fernvale

Ben, it is pronounced "pee-nurse", not "pee-neez" 😅
I would say Geylang claypot rice is nicer hands down
