Great video bro! Quick question! What’s your audio output setup? Will any interface with at least two channels (stereo left n right) work? Or you just coming out the headphone jack? Thanks!!
Well I now know what about to do. The choices of the pianos and the realism. I love my native stuff but this is sick. I have the UVI electric keys and after you showed the layer with MKS and MK80 😬😬jeeesh. And so smooth ‼️‼️‼️
I came across your video and I was really impressed I went out and brought the keyscape in the Trinity base and that is the only two plug-ins I use with my MPC X

Is it possible to get some of these Maverick City style sounds without purchasing keyscape? I'd love to have it but am on a budget? Any ways to use stock instruments that you would recommend?
Man I never ever gave Keyscape the time of day until I came to your page. I am truly shocked as to how good the sounds are. I see that you're using the M-audio 49 es. Do you really like the feel of the keys on that midi board? Was looking to purchase one but wanted your view on it. Thanks so much brother!
Man thanks a lot for stopping by!!! Keyscape is the real deal!! This board has kept me for many years! No issues. I’m looking to upgrade soon though. Need more controls for synth and automation stuff.
Bro studiologic made by Fatar 88 notes actual hammer-action bro you get this board you'll never have to buy another one I bought four of them just because I wanted to MIDI route
new to music production currently using Logic Pro X. Thinking about getting the arturia V collection and keyscape for Christmas. after doing some heavy research, Arturia’s piano doesn’t sound as good as this.
I see you are using a Keystation49es. I have a Keystation61MK3. I assume the velocity sensitivity is similar. I want tp buy Keyscape but I'm afraid my keyboard won't be able to articulate all the velocities within the Keyscape application. How do you feel about what you're using? Are there any problems? I know when I use BFD# drum software I have trouble articulation ghost notes and stuff. Do you think this is an issue or not? Thanks for our video. I do love the sound of this software and Spectrasonics is great.
Most of the MKS-20 emulations/sample libraries never really capture the full range of that thing, but Keyscape’s is probably the worst out of the bunch. Don’t get me wrong, i adore Keyscape and a huge amount of its sounds, but it’s MKS-20 doesn’t accurately capture the character of the original.
I just bought this yesterday because of this video. Can't wait to start using it.They already called me about the purchase to make sure I have everything I need.
Hello friend, my name is Daniel and I'm from Brazil. Congratulations on the sound you make, it's amazing and very clean. Did you put any plugins in the post-production of your audio??? Thank you in advance
i really wanna get into music production as well, but I have very little music theory and I hate reading staff notations. how can I learn to free style and play chord progressions and melodies of my own?
It’s very underrated but, simply listening! Artists like: Robert Glasper, Conor Albert and many others are so inspiring to watch and listen to! Next is practicing what you hear. Emulate what you hear on the keys and build your own personality over time.
Hi Yahan, I’ve been using native instrument for my keys I.e. upright, Alicia Keyes, giant .... i need to sincerely know if this keyscspe is really worth it as I’m thinking of saving up to buy it and my GAS ain’t helping! 😭 (Gear Acquisition Syndrome 😅)
I think that Keyscape is the best sounding plugin to have if you don’t have any other sound options other than that I personally don’t want to pay for any plugins especially $379 or $479 for the Omnisphere 2.8 even though they both sounds better then the Fender Rhodes V8 plugin $179 as a new beginner I don’t want to spend any money if I don’t have to so I’m gonna work with what I have which is the same Exact M-Audio MK3 USB midi controller except the 61 version with the weighted keys I got a brand New 1994 Roland JV-1080 Midi Sound Module with 3 SR-JV80 Expansion Boards (Session) (Keyboards of the 60s & 70s) & the (house Collection card) plus I’m using 4 free plugins the #1 Vintage keys 🎹 by Spitfire #2 Dexed-FM Synth which has all of the original Yamaha DX7 sounds #3 Addictive Keys Mark One which came free with my focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface & #4 Keyzone Classics with my MacBook Pro running Ableton live plus if I look hard online some one probably has some free sample loops & Chords of the Keyscape
Can I suggest something. Could you release a set of tracks after each tutorial. A short piece (1-3mins) demoing / (unmastered) the feature / tracks you worked on in the tutorial. Then sell these or add as content on a paid subscription channel. I know its a bit of work, but I know there are others like me who are fans of your creations not only your content.
Does anyone know if the dynamics on this piano is good (like the soft is very quiet and the hard hitting is very loud). Cause I wanna basically replace my old piano with VST
Hi! There's no digital piano in the world today, (with Nord aside perhaps), that can compete with a good VST like keyscape. Of course digital pianos have the hardware and software tuned, however with a few setting adjustments you'll get the best out of the dynamic response that Keyscape and other top VSTs have. Don't forget however, you'd need a top keyboard to use your VST. Getting something like a Roland FP-30X or a Kawai ES-520 will do the trick 100%. And of course, you'd need a good desktop / laptop, preferably with a solid state drive installed, and way to go! So the definitive answer is yes. Soundwise VSTs are the best alternatives most of the time and Keyscape is one of the best VSTs ever made, with a very high number of samples per note, and with many dynamic layers. You'll enjoy it to death if you're a good musician. All the best!
Nobody is going to talk about how crazy this guy is on keys
