"You *WANT* to be more.... don't you?" & when Joe looked at Gordon as he said that, That was the moment I realized Gordon was Joe's target & not these dudes, he's *looking* at them but he's *talking* to Gordon & Gordon realized that, incredible scene 💯✔️
The framing of this scene is breathtaking. It very intentionally places Gordon in focus so that Joe's proposal resonates with Gordon's complete lack of faith in his own abilities. It's only through Joe that Gordon realizes that he wants more for himself, that he can *be* more.
Thanks for putting this clip together. Surprised more people aren't watching this as it's one of the few good HACF clips on YT. And it perfectly captures the essence of the entire series.
My dad taught me this lesson when he used to work in Sales - "The first one who talks, loses". Not that it's really important where I currently work (retail), but my manager obviously doesn't grasp this at all. Se can't stand the silence between salesman and customer; and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS, opens her mouth when i'm the one selling. I don't like to blame other people, but I do excel when she's not around. I'd like to send her this vid, but I don't think she'd take the hint.
I had basically the same conversation with our sales guy, only my sales guy was nicer about it. If you get between a sales guy and the customer, he will eat your lunch. The best way you can help your sales guy is to shut your gob until he tells you to talk.

Joe McMillan, master troll
I love how this entire series of events was choreographed by Joe in order to wake, inspire, and convince Gordon. Such a great show.
A great, yet unappreciated show

Yeah I was waiting for Gordon to say "Yes!"
Brilliant insight!
I'm not going to apologize for caring about your business, even though the people who work for you don't.

Without a doubt.
