I honestly think the peak design slim link system and mobile system for the iphone is the best! Have had it for a while and absolutely love it
Very cool. I wish that the holder had the slim link latch. Would’ve give me more confidence to use it off road.
A better car/truck mount is long overdue but vehicle specific? It’s like you over corrected and went too far to the other direction.
The vehicle-specific aspect of this product collab is partially what made it interesting to us. Creating products this niche is something that Peak Design will likely never have the bandwidth to take on. But that is Offroam's specialty, and they do it very well. This collab ended up being a very efficient way for us to create a rad product for a relatively niche group of hardcore offroading/overlanding enthusiasts.
Also note that we're actively developing additional car/truck mounts that are more universal in nature. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few months!

Is the 1" charging ball mount adapter available on it's own? I don't need a whole kit. I have the car mount now, I just stuck it to 1" ball mounting plate. It vibrates a lot, and my phone has fallen on the floor a couple times while driving down dirt roads.
