we started our journey from Kolkata at 6 o clock in the morning and reached Keonjhor almost at 12.30p.m, through National Highway 6/16,Crossed Dhulagori toll plaza,headed towards Kolaghat, went on straight to Deulia Bajar and had our first stop there.we had a breakfast Al lalur Choper Dokan, with petai paratha,ghughni, and chanar jilapi।Started again towards kharagpur Chowrongi and then took the road to lalgarh.This road goes straight to Ghatshila, jamshedpur jharkhand,we had our next stop at guptamani which we usually do while traveling on this road.We started again and went upto Behera goda ,and from here we had to take the left lane towards Bishoyi Mayurbhanj district of Odisha.If you don't take the left lane and go straight you will reach ghatshila which we did first time following Google map.So please remember to take the left lane.go straight pass jhorpukhuria toll then now onwards drive straight, you will be in the heaven of natural beauty studded with hills, jungle, rocks and lash greenery.The road condition is too good, except some patches in some pocket.This is Mumbai Highway and National Highway 49, you can avail this road to reach shimlipal, Sambalpur, Nagpur,Madhyapradesh,Mumbai.Drive cautiously while passing the jungle and hill as there are wild animals like elephant,monkeys, and fully loaded truck
Don't feed the monkeys as it will risk their life
Don't play loud music
don't throw plastic waste to save the mother nature.And please limit honking
There are so many hotels in keonjhor city, and in simlipal or bangriposi you can easily stay there,
what you can see:-The road itself is a must see destination with its virgin beauty,beside this you can see Sanaghagra waterfall, Baraghagra Waterfall, Sitabinji, vhimkund,khanddhar falls, sanghaghra nature camp,simlipal forest,handivanga falls
