Well narrated video. We just bought one and it's on it way. We have the need for straight rows as later on we use a finger weeder for our crop. We noticed that a slight variation in rows causes the weeder to swing and hit some of the crop reducing yield. We hope this toy fixes that problem. Thanks for honest answers and actual in action workings of the wheelman.
Ive had a flex in a 4430 for 3 years now and I like it quite a bit. Id pick it over the pro 700 we have in a mx315. Its so much simpler and easier to navigate. We also had issues with customer service being timely when we purchased it, but i recently bought a flex install kit for our combine and a wheelman pro for our mx230 and the current owners have been very fast to reply to me and seem to be much better then the previous owners.
Now with that system. At the end of the field and ya disengage to turn around. Can ya skip one.or more passes to go back down the field ? As to not have to turn so sharp to be right back down the last pass? Hope that makes sence.
Yes you definitely can skip a row if you want, if you go clear to the other end of the field it can get corrupted though. As far as I know you have to disengage or move the steering wheel every time and turn around every time. It’s a perfect starter system for someone who wants to dip their toes in that world with little cost & little commitment. No subscription fees with WAAS
I found actually email seemed to get faster response. Now I haven't had any trouble with mine but I had some tech questions and I had a response the very next day
Hands free farm has traded hands since I put this video out, it’s owned by two American business partners now. I assume things may be better from now on
