Crawford mastered his south paw stance just as agile as his orthodox stance without compromising his counter punches in rapid combo in the process.
That's where I think the only knockdown of this fight is gonna happen. I think Spence is gonna catch him while he's switching stances for a flash knockdown.

A plodder cannot beat Crawford, who is (with the Sweet Science) a Master Brawler/Boxer (counter-puncher). Need I say that he can throw punches from any angle, that is, he absolutely does not telegraph, and intuitively throws punches from anywhere his hands are positioned.

I believe the Spence side of the debate are not taking in consideration enough the Draining that occurs when having to drop to 146.8, when Spence is walking around at 180 between fights. Crawford only needed to shed 5 lbs. He walks around UNDER 160. Another Spence side mistake is not seeing how Crawford jack hammered brook and porter. The Crawford punch will shock Spence on how strong his punch got last few years.

Spence needs a fighter who goes toe-to-toe, and standing in front of him. It will be more difficult landing those big power shots on Bud who is excellent counter attacking and exceptional at taking different angles. If it’s a brawl Spence has the edge but I expect Bud to utilize his footwork and counter punch Spence to win a UD. He may even come away with a late knockdown.
Crawford's habit of giving away the earlier rounds will be his downfall in this fight

Crawford's reaction time is otherworldly. Dude can see a punch coming and adjust his body to into ways that absorb it with minimal contact and then uses the momentum to spring himself into his counter. Dude is insane.

Porter tested both these Champs. They both adjusted and got the victory. 50/50 fight for sure. They both can Adapt to their environment. It's going to be a great fight. Truly a 50/50 fight. It's a case of whoever can implement their game more effectively. Personally, of the two I think Bud has more options. He has a very high fight I.Q. and can adapt to any opponent and then implement his game. Spence likes to pressure with forward momentum but he doea so in a very calculated way. He doesn't just plod forward mindlessly.
It's an extremely difficult fight to pick a winner but my money is on Crawford. He just has more options and is more adaptable.
Either way it's going to be one of the best fights of the year without question!! I'm super stoked for it!!!

The height difference is negligible, as seen when they faced off. I don't consider Errol a bigger fighter, as Bud has a couple of inches reach advantage. Bud's wrestling heritage tells me that Bud is probably physically stronger. It's all going to be left to skills and heart to determine a winner. I won't give an advantage to either man in that dept. I find it impossible to see a fight where either 'DOMINATES' unless we have something where one gets hurt and just cannot recover back to their usual form but is still good enough to stay in the bout, lessened throughout. (which happens sometimes)
I could easily see Crawford tipping rounds to his side but by smaller margins and depending on what a judge rewards.
In theory, I suppose Crawford is the slicker, smarter craftier boxer but I'm guessing Spence might take this with his dynamic aggression and power. Either way I can't wait to see this. For me its a true 50-50

IF we found Spence was today walking around at 170 (Crawford also bumps up to that) then him getting wrecked to lose it in few weeks then a questioning would happen,

He's been seen very lean and nearing his fighting weight for a while now.
of course, Crawford is also known for easily going later rounds just fine.
This isn't a case of a struggling higher weight who has to exhaust themselves to get down. Spence isn't that.
What could happen is that the more dynamic offensive Spence does indeed get tired trying to whale on a slick Crawford who, as we've seen again and again, lets them try, slips and avoids any damage, keeps his energy and turns that on later.
Why that probably doesn't happen:
Spence is considered one of the greatest fighters today because of his efficiency.
Spence is so very good at picking shots and not throwing anything he doesn't need to,
He's known for that.
Crawford himself knows that Spence isn't going to be just throwing anything but careful efficient business.
Should be interesting to see what plays out!

Gamboa was an undefeated two division champion and gold medalist. On top of that Gamboa was on the P4P list and the favorite in the fight. So everything you said was totally wrong. Gamboa was known all over the world from the amateurs into the pros, he was 32 the same age as Spence, and he was undefeated. Bud has beaten more undefeated champions and fighters then Spence he’s the more experienced fighter and will dominate Spence.
People seem to omit the fact that Crawford has an iron chin. He's been hit with some very powerful punches in his career and effortlessly shook them off. He won't clam up if hit hard by Spence, so Spence may get a volley of counter-punches for his attacks. Crawford by 11th round TKO.

@@jayclarke9611 word we’ve seen Crawford dropped/staggered by multiple fighters at lower weights I’ve seen Errol walk through EVERYTHING and barely stagger let alone go down. Forgive me but I don’t see Bud KOing somebody who has fight much bigger stronger fighters but maybe Bud is that special. I can’t wait to see either way!
