- First day of the Tamil Nadu tour started by exploring Kanyakumari in which we explored - Vivekanand Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari temple, Vivekanada kendra. It was a delightful experience to watch sunrise and sunset at Kanyakumari. Standing at the last point of mainland India and looking at the sea is a delightful experience.

We started our day in the morning by seeing the sunrise at Kanyakumari Sunrise Point. It was so beautiful because it’s the place where you can see the confluence of 3 rivers - Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal & Indian Ocean.
Swami Vivekanand Rock Memorial - After this, we headed to visit the swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial. I was so amazed to see the very big queue to get the entry tickets for the Rock memorial but we bought special entry tickets by paying Rs 300 per person to avoid the long queue.
Then we traveled for almost 10 minutes on the ferry to reach the Vivekananda Memorial.
Swami Vivekanand Rock Memorial was Inaugurated in 1970, and it was built to honor Swami Vivekananda. The religious significance of this historical place is that the rock is said to have the imprint of Maa Parvati feet, which is why it’s considered holy. In 1892 Swami Vivekananda visited Kanyakumari and meditated here.
Entry Ticket for Memorial visit - Rs 30
Thiruvalluvar Statue - we also saw a beautiful view of Thriuvalluvar Statue from the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The Thiruvalluvar Statue is a 133 feet tall stone sculpture of the Tamil poet and saint Tiruvalluvar, author of the Thirukkural.
Ferry does not halt at Thiruvalluvar statue but you can have a clear view of this statue from Vivekananda rock memorial.
After this, we had a fresh Palm fruit juice & coconut water
Palm tree Juice - Rs 60
Then we did a 500 m Sea walk over stones and it was such an amazing experience.
Lunch at Maruthi Hotel - We had our lunch at Maruthi Hotel - A traditional South Indian meal. Overall I enjoyed the a meal lot.
Meal Price - Rs 120
Kanyakumari Lighthouse - After lunch we visited Kanyakumari Lighthouse situated right next to TTDC. we saw the beautiful view of the Kanyakumari from the lighthouse.
Kanyakumari Temple - Then we visited Bhagavathi Amman Temple, Kanyakumari. This temple is 3000 years old.
Sunset Point - After this, we headed towards Sunset Point to see the beautiful sunset of Kanyakumari. We noticed the crowd of approx 5000 people who are enjoying the sunset here.
Vivekanand Kendra - Then we visited Vivekanand Kendra which is one of the affordable stay options in Kanyakumari. We were not able to shoot there because it was full at that time.

Ramayan Darshana - Then we visited a gallery called Ramayan Darshana where you can get very detailed information about Ramayan. We also visited the Bharat Mata temple there.
Stay in Kanyakumari - We stayed in Kanyakumari at TTDC property Hotel Tamil Nadu which is the Tamil Nadu government undertaking

Actually Kanya Kumari is the point where three main oceans meet. I mean to say Bay of Bengal is part of continuity to Pacific Ocean and Arabian sea is part of continuity to Atlantic Ocean. Where both the Oceans meet Indian Ocean starts. Rest of viewings was much perfect👍
My husband and I visited Kanyakumari around you only. You were a couple of days ahead of us and I texted you on instagram too about your itinerary and our chance to meet up. And we got a reply from you too. Couldn't meet but I must say that we both love your channel to the core and you're a very humble person just as expected. As usual, another awesome episode. I feel that as kids, we would gather every Sunday to watch Rangoli, and now we eagerly wait for Sundays to watch Visa2explore episodes.
Another crucial point I want to highlight is that during the lighthouse scene, one can observe hillocks. These are genuinely special as they mark the end (or beginning) of the 1,600 km long majestic Western Ghats, forming a continuous chain all the way to Gujarat (except for Palakkad & Goa gaps).
Wow. Beutifull episode. I also visited kanyakumari in 1997 and stayed at Tamil Nadu hotel. Still have very clear memories of my stay in kankyakumari. Thanks for bringing back those memories. :)

I want to see Bharat, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Sikhan and Bhutan join together in the Union similar to the European Union. Long live peace in the Sub-Continent. From London, England.

Although we stay in Mumbai during 1998 we visited Kanyakumari but during those days no UA-cam channels available, my parents born & brought up from Thrissur Kerala.
Going down memory lane again after over ten or twelve years is such a treat. During our summer vacation, my family and I went to Kanyakumari and stayed at the same hotel by TTDC. It is fantastic to watch you go to the same spot. Many thanks, sir!

Its available plenty in odisha during summers and costs 20/ for one whole fruit with 3 palm seeds. When ripe we make pithas in it.
Here in Bihar , only pulp is also very cheap , 3 pc pulp in just ₹10 . This fruit is so refreshing and tasty 🤤

Three colours water in Kanyakumari beach. This is amazing. Rock memorial of aswami vivekananda is also excellent. It was nice to see the last point of India on rocks near the beach but that path was very risky to walk on that.
