To he fair, in the first and second vampire novels, vampires where attractive funny enough it was dracula that broke that pattern and Nosferatu is an if brand even later adaption, but read carmilla or the vampyre which proceded them, and they are attractive and compelling
A fantastic video, I love this topic and hold it dear to my heart, mythical creatures in all genres but especially horror have always been political!!! Keep up the great work
The problem with frankenstein was not that he never shoukd have created life, tgats just the thing people later asigned to the story, the real criticism mary had for the character was, that he is a shity father!!! I get why thats not what ended up in pop culture, but in the book, the creation itself truely is not where it all went wrong. The creature wad not foomed to be evil or wrong by nature, but nurture. It was brilliant and highly symoathetic to humans, who spit in the face of its helpful nature again and again...
Cool video!! I can also recommend this one ua-cam.com/video/MlWfI0p7C14/v-deo.htmlsi=oM3paVeZGrww3BV1 If anyone wants to learn more about the history of witches
